Nice resort, bit long winded to get up to ski area but fine if you’re happy to take a walk to gondola / lift. Good choice of different ski areas. Cheaper in Morzine than up in avoriaz for example. Plenty of nice places to eat out etc

Visited one the christmas period, luckily got snowfall in the first few days (which closed the slopes) and then the rest of the days were stunning. Towards the end of the week this snow started to melt but due to the brilliant location of morzine, we were able to explore avoriaz (at a higher altitude) where snow was more consistent -also a beautiful area which even connects to switzerland.

Fab resort, I’ve stayed in Morzine the past three years. One solo trip the others with family and kids. We love it because of the short transfer time from Geneva airport, the town is lovely and has some nice shops and some great restaurant options for veggies. It has a good central location to access Les Gets and Avoriaz too.

Great nights and excellent skiing, been 5 times, will move there eventually.

Went to Morzine, specifically out of school holidays. No queues for lifts, pistes were nice and quiet.
Some great bars in town and on the slopes.
Loads for people to do, if you are in a group of friends, a family or a couple. You can tailor to what you want.
Great choice of restaurants to choose from also.
Transport is pretty good, once you sort the bus timetable out and there is also Uber out there now as well as local taxi’s. Not many but if you need to use the service, there are some options.

Some great runs if you can get high towards Les Gets, but some tough runs to get there and back when soft in the afternoon; limited runs in Morzine itself.

Love the town, so much more than just a ski resort. Enjoy connecting with both Avoriaz and Les Gets gives you a huge ski area.

Late in the season visit as friends went in January and loved it so much they needed to go again. Can't say I was disappointed at all, still plenty of snow on the slopes. Amazing atmosphere, folie douce WOW. Great selection of runs, plenty for the family to do. Will be going again.

The kids are getting better and better on boards so plenty of greens and blues here they're still not bored with! One day maybe we'll all graduate to reds and explore a bit further

Morzine is a great resort with a bunch of friends, loads of ski options at different levels and parts of off piste to play around on while others are on the red/blues. Great apres and super easy access from Geneva. Recommend!

Honestly… we love Morzine, we’ve been 6 times in total, and love it more every time. Perfect for couples, groups and families. Lovely traditional town, everything easy access, great ski school, restaurants and Apres. Runs are amazing, what more could you ask for!

I’ve come to love Morzine. It’s an easy (not dangerously steep) and relatively short drive from Geneva airport, giving you access to Les Portes du Soleil. An amazing, huge ski area that takes you across France and Switzerland. It’s incredibly well maintained, has runs and off piste for every type of skier. Lovely restaurants and super family friendly. Our little one just started and we do the magic carpet above Pleney and in Les Gets. If there is little snow, you can go up to Avoriaz. Snow guaranteed.

Great place to visit, make sure to get the mega lift pass to take you over to Avoriaz and Switzerland too!

Full of amazing people, insane views and great slopes. Everything was well maintained!

Amazing and will be booking for next year! It’s huge so you never run out of pistes, also beautiful.

We stayed for a week half board in Chalet Alpina. This was perfect for us because as middle-aged skiers/boarders we really needed some time in the hot tub after hitting the slopes. Plus the food was great with a evening 4 course meal (no buffet) although no choice on the menu. It’s really easy to ski/board in either Morzine or Alvoriaz or even Les Gets from a base in Morzine village, which is very picturesque. We skied and boarded in Alvoriaz every day because we prefer blue runs and there were loads to choose from so we never got bored. There were reds and blacks and also saw lots of people going off-piste. Morzine has more reds and blacks from what we could see, and there are a hot of nearby resorts that are really easy to get to with the free bus that also catered for more advanced skiers. Importantly for us, the blues in Avoriaz ranged from easy wides to more challenging almost red runs, which go a bit choppy by the afternoon. My partner is a boarder so it’s really important for him to have chair lifts / gondolas as he doesn’t do well with button lifts, and this again was perfect. There were only a few button lift runs which were clearly marked, so we could avoid them. Loads of nice restaurants to stop in on the slopes or in Avoriaz centre, although not the music / djs of other resorts apart from La Folie Douce. Down in Morzine we only found one apres ski bar with a live DJ from 3:30-7:00pm, Le Tremplin, but that is really cool and has a slide to get to the toilets (very instagramable!). As we had half board I can’t comment on the restaurants in Morzine but felt like loads of choice. I’d definitely go back as the skiing was perfect for us.

Love Morzine go every year and this January there was plenty of snow and runs were fabulous and wide open so no bottlenecking!

Wide range of slopes to build your confidence for beginners and also to have fun as an intermediate/advanced. Well connected to the different parts of Portes du Soleil. Only 1.5 hours from Geneva airport!

Stayed with tree line chalets, catered accommodation. Morzine is brilliant for links to other resorts. Avoriaz and Les Gets. Better skiing early morning to catch the fresh powder.
