Plenty of variety for intermediate level. Large amount of blue slopes with some more challenging parts . Slopes can get quite busy but further away from plagne centre was a lot quieter.

Very beginner friendly, Good mix of runs, quite a large ski area with lots of places to eat on slopes or in the villages. Ski school is good. Freestyle course is good also. Terrain park is not great. Quite limited number of rails but the jumps are good but compared to other resorts its freestyle is not up there. Accommodation is good lots of options on where to stay and free bus that goes up to the slopes every morning.

I have done 2 seasons in la plagne. Huge resort with lots of pistes, very few green runs lots of blues. Some red and a few blacks.

Snow park very fun and great its linked with les arcs!

Very good place for intermediate skiers, lots of great wide blue runs

Good selection of steep reds and blacks.

Plenty of green and bunny slopes for beginners.

Hot tip: the Roche De Mio gondola is really slow and old, it's quicker to take the blanchets then carrela chair lifts instead

Ive always been to la plagne with family and its a huge resort with 220km skiable terrain which makes it so you wont get bored of the same runs.

Ive visited this resort twice now and Im more than happy each time, endless runs to choose from meaning each time I go I always have something new to try, equally regardless of your ability there is hundreds of options for you to choose from. Also having visited during the school holidays I was expecting it to be much busier than it was, I think the expanse of the resort really helps to spread everyone out. Another resort you will definitely not regret visiting

La plagne has something for everyone with clean groomers fresh powder. Skied and boarded at la plagne and it never disappoints. Look forward to returning in the future.

La Plagne is huge! Thats even before you combine it with Les Arcs to from the Paradiski. There is so much variety with glaciers up high and tree lined runs down to Montalbert. Ive snowboarded all over and I think its the best lift system Ive come across. Mostly big, fast, efficient lifts which keeps the queue size down. Such a bonus to be able to get the Vanoise Express over to Les Arcs too. Fantastic views over the valley in the glass bottom cable car and another ski area just as huge and well connected. Top tip - start making your way home to LP at least half hour before you think you should leave. You could get stuck with an enormous taxi ride if you dont make it back in time. Mainly I loved the variety in LP - its not really fair to call it one resort as its made up of lots of different villages all with their own personality and chsrm. Personally I love Plagne Bellecôte. Right in the heart of the LP map and its a fantastic springboard out in any direction. Ive eaten and drank in better places but there is plenty on offer. Will definitely going back

Large ski area with lovely cruisey runs. Mix of both well groomed pistes and mogul fields. Scenic tree lined runs in lower areas. Lifts could be modernised, not terrible but some very long slower lifts. Accomodation lots of ski in/ski out options which is ideal. Great food and drinks on the mountain. Will definitely visit again in the future.

A great all round resort with a good mix of runs available for all levels. Certainly skiing is preferable as there are quite a few long flatish runs. Ungroomed runs scattered throughout the resort provide a challenge to those looking for it. Plenty of villages accessible by free shuttle bus with dining options and non snow activities. The spa in belle plagne is great.

La plagne is a huge resort that boasts something for everyone. Great for beginners whith lots of linked blue runs and easy navigation with signposts at every junction. Reds are great and intermediate to advanced skiers have access to over 400km of piste to get stuck into. There are challenging blacks left ungroomed and the option to head up to the glacier.
Made up of several little villages each with its own charm and draws I hope to visit again and would highly recommend

Good ski resort option with plenty of pistes to ski when factoring in the attaced sister resort Les Arcs. Pistes were well groomed at the start of each day which is as well as they were super melted by the end of each day with lots of the runs turned into slush mogul fields.

Some good food options for lunch, apres options were reasonable in resort but not huge.

Have been back to La Plagne many times. Is well known for its budget friendlyness and for having one of the only bobsleigh tracks in France. Helped host the Winter Olympic Games from Albertville and now offers bobsleigh experiences amongst many many others. Accommodation is very reasonable obviously the lower you stay the cheaper it is but you can as of the 2024 season stay in 1800 or Crete cote for around £40 a night depending on availability etc. La Plagne is very family friendly and regularly offers many different activities besides skiing at all times of the year. Equally there are many options for apres too including lunch or clubs on and off the slopes. Theres enough skiing to have something for everyone in La Plagne and the resort is perfect for beginners with plenty of choice for advanced and expert skiers aswell with plenty of black runs ungromed runs and trails with options for walking and touring too. Hire a ski teacher for help on slopes and a guide to take you around some powder fields theres heli skiing or walking whatever you need lol. The lifts are all rapid and new with only a handful of 4 man lifts left and button, rope and magic carpet lifts only where needed. Easy link to Les Arcs with plenty more skiing there aswell. Some areas of La Plagne town are not as beautiful as you might find elsewhere with a lot of it being quite brutalist with a few less apres options than maybe liked and is best suited to non experts unless you know where the harder stuff is I would say this is La Plagnes only downfalls lol. Oh very easy to get to aswell fly to Geneva Grenoble or Lyon for £50 and get a very easy train or transfer with a train only around £20. Pls excuse my long winded badly punctuated review but La Plagne Is great and definitely the best value for money resort in Europe dont bother with Bankso etc if u like skiing aswell as money savings lol maybe Suzie Doulx etc idk

Accessible routes for all abilities, can easily get to other resorts so theres lots of pistes to go at, when I was there it hadnt snowed for a long time so lots of pistes were shut or dangerous but there was enough snow to still get everywhere. Lots of places to eat, but expensive but food was very nice

The snow quality wasnt the best for the majority of the week, and so may reflect review. Despite this, massive snowfall at end of week allowed us to do some great tree runs. Was highly dependent on snowfall. Great bars, but on-piste apre skiing was a bit rubbish. Lifts were good and transport to was very easy (got proper easy shuttle bus). Good ski shops and supermarkets. Easily ski in and out (where we stayed). Off piste limited but probably due to snowfall. Parks limited as well, but due to injury was giving freestyle a break.

La Plagne and all the villages are great for families. Loads of things for the kids to do. We stayed in Belle Plagne which is great as almost all accommodation is ski in/ski out. Enough restaurants to choose from but we ate at the apartment most nights, cant comment too much about night life as kids are too young, but bowling and spa was good. As for the skiing/snowboarding, we had a great time. Runs were challenging enough for us and although it was half term we still found quite a lot of the runs to be quiet. Some of the lift queues are huge but they move relatively quickly as the lift system is pretty efficient. The runs from Belle Plagne to Plagne Bellecotte are ridiculously busy all day as they are the way to get to all the ski lifts, its a huge bottleneck but when you get to the bottom its even worse. With all levels making their way from several directions to the lifts coupled with idiots who ignore the signs to slow down, and those that are oblivious of whats happening around them, I saw so many arguments and accidents Im surprised nobody was more injured. My only other gripe was dog poo. There are lots of dogs in the village and their owners seem to think its ok to not pick up the mess, mainly to the sides of the slopes in the village but still its disgusting. However, even after these 2 gripes we would go back, plenty of terrain for us and we didnt get to all the villages and still have plenty of runs to explore. Also Oxygene ski school was fab my kids loved it.
