Enjoyable resort, linkable with les Arecibo if you want a bigger resort, nice village setting if youre after a quiet location

We had a lovely time skiing here! The walk from the town to the lifts is about 10 mins and uphill but apart from that, everything was amazing.

I found the resort to be Family friendly, very scenic, snow sure, and easy to explore. However, it is not ideal for beginner snowboarders due to the lift style and limited number of wide shallow slopes. It has limited options for apre skiing but has lots of other fun activities. The option is there for advanced skiers to explore large distances and even travel into adjacent resorts.Overall a very solid and decent option, and great value for money. It just doesnt quite reach the heights of other top resorts, which may cost slightly more.

Champagny is a lovely resort, connected nicely with the paradiski area which is fantastic for going on longer adventures. Transfers up to the resort can be a bit of a pain but are achievable, usually the lifts are fairly quiet except for the gondola up first thing and when the ski school goes. There is a lovely ski cross track set up at the top as well as some fantastic tree runs, when the snow is good you are also able to ski right down to the village which is a lovely addition.

Champagny is a lovely ex farming village linked to the La Plagne ski area. It has grown a lot in recent years but retains it's charm. A few friendly restaurants and bars in the centre, couple of small supermarkets, bakery, butchers etc and a choice of ski hire establishments. Stunning scenery and a fast gondola out of the village to 2000 metres at one end of Paradiski. Champagny itself has South facing slopes which tend to be quite quiet (apart from school holidays) and connections over to La Plagne are fast (probably too difficult for complete beginners though). I love Champagny.

Quiet resort often simply seen as a route to better known La Plagne. Fast gondola access to the plateau with a small picnic hut, ski hire and lesson meeting place. In spring the cruisable runs had noone on them. Up along the ridge you'll find a choice of routes down into La Plagne but staying in the Champagny bowl provides you with well groomed pistes with plenty areas to the side left for playing in the powder or unpisted runs inbounds. Easy to navigate and a decent altitude makes Champagny a snowsure secret gem!

A nice little town, good accommodation options available. Would recommend for the more proficient of skiers/snowboards as beginners we struggled to get around and over the hill to the La Plange side or the mountains. Couldn't ski all the way back down to the village as the snow level was too high. Had to catch the bubble lift the last part.

Lovely little village with access to the huge Paradiski Ski area and only 20 mins to a gondola to access the 3 Valleys. Ready access to the slopes via a gondola to mid station, with easy blue runs in the sun immediately available. A short ski and a lift and you have immediate access to the main La Plagne area, which due to its height is usually pretty snow sure.

champany was the places i learned to ski/snowboard and it was probably the best place to learn as the slopes are amazing nice and wide runs but also challenging runs with a ski in ski out hotel made it much better

the skiing itself is good for those of a lower skill range and the runs are more taylored to beginners and intermediate skiers. but if youre looking for a place with good night life then this is not the place for you, there is only really one bar open, it has no apres and no club. champagne is very good for families full of beginners or children
