Really nice resort with good infrastructure. Not too busy, decent amount of snow even though we went early in December. Notably easy to get to from Innsbruck, or indeed to have an evening out on the bus which stopped just outside our accommodation.

Plenty of lifts with reasonably short queues, runs were wide with plenty of room and well signposted. Shops were friendly in terms of renting equipment or changing equipment. The restaurant was reasonably good value with plenty of choice for meals.

Excellent lift system. Wide open slopes which midweek in January were blissfully quiet compared to other resorts which are becoming way too crowded . Spectacular scenery. Excellent restaurant mid station.

Had a great time, pistes are wide and not super busy. Good variety of runs. Food is good. Shame its not a ski in ski out type or resort, most accommodation is around 20-40min drive. But I would definitely recommend.

Amazing resort! Would highly recommend. It’s a little hidden away gem that’s not as popular as bigger resorts, but offers great glacier skiing with guaranteed snow. Various villages around the glacier offer great accomodation and choices for food & drink, neustift being the biggest / best of these. Eating out and drinking is not too pricey either. A car is recommended if you want to move around easily but buses are available that will take you to the base.

Stubaier Gletscher is my go-to resort given that I can leave my London home early and catch a flight to Innsbruck and be on the slopes just after midday. Its not huge, but the lifts are great, the pistes are well managed & he snow is always excellent. Downside is no on mountain accommodation, but Ive stayed in quite a few hotels in the valley and have enjoyed all of them. The ski bus is regular and free.

My best memories of Austria are from Stubai.
Huge terrain, great food and clean amenities.
I met a local skinning up the mountain and we became friends. I was invited to his home, met his lovely wife and was made to feel like family. Thank you Ernest.

A great option for early or late season skiing on the glacier. Free lift passes for children under 10 with a paying adult. Lots of accommodation options in the valley with good equipment rental deals in most shops.

The city of Innsbruck in close proximity for lots of non snow activities.

Friendly Austrian vibes.

Great ski resort for intermediate level of ski or snowboarder, with very long and large slopes. Very good quality of snow and lifts, but the best thing is that is was not crowded at all, making it really fast to get on the slopes.

We spent a day at Stubai - the altitude meant we had great snow conditions when the lower resorts were struggling with rain. The choice of pistes isnt huge but the resort is well managed and could definitely keep you interested for a few days. Lots of other resorts to explore nearby too.

I normally ski in Stubai if I ski later in the season as the snow is always good. The slopes are wide and well goomed and there is a fantastic off piste run from the summit to the car park at the bottom (top partbis on regular runs). It is not far from Innsbruck if you want to try other local resorts such as Igls, Axamer Lizum and Seefeld (these are best skied in a day). Best to fly to Munich and hire a car. Could also stop off in Garmisch/Zugspitz for the day on way back to airport!.

I went in a spell of harsher weather, ploughs were out at evening prepping for the next day of skiing. Plenty of staff and rangers. Looked really organised slopes were well maintained and easy to find. Off piste and black routes, from what I saw were fantastic and well used. Inside of course like anywhere was expensive, basic set meals were upmost of 15 euros.
Good atmosphere and friendly people. I'd definitely go again ski pass was competitive price.
