I love it there! Growing up my Dad would always take us there for skiing holidays! One of my favourite memories, this place will forever be special to me!

Came to Angertal as a beginner and really enjoyed it learning to ski in the practice zone, had a lovely ski down an easy blue after some practice but do wish they had more blues that dont overlap

Very good large resort, allowing for movement into Bad Hofgastein and Sportgastein. Bus routes allowing for further travelling to other resorts with discounts on the ski passes. Definitely will consider coming again

We went to Bad Hofgastein several times with family and loved it. The skiing was always amazing and we loved the quaint town centre, spa, cafes and restaurants.
Would definitely recommend!

Awesome ski and snowboarding area, great atmosphere with lots of accommodation, bars and restaurants. Have to have a drink or two at the ice bars.

I have been to this resort for around 15 years. The staff on the lifts are always nice. There is never really long lift lines, even in peak season as everything is very efficient. The lifts are very quick so you spend hardly any time on them. All the lifts are modern and comfortable. There is a mix of ski runs from blue to black. I would say it is more intermediate friendly than beginner friendly.

Lots of miles of intermediate level piste . Plenty of mountain restaurants ( special mention to Aeroplanstadl. ) well groomed pistes. Well linked areas . Great 4 star hotels and Spas to die for . My favourite resort by far

I've had the pleasure to ski Bad Gastein/Bad Hofgastein/Angertal for about 8 years now. The slope preperation is second to none, and I ski a lot of other resorts in Austria and America to compare this against.
The length of the runs and complexity of some of them is what brings me back even year. Full afterburners off the Hohe Scharte down all the way to Bad Hofgastein has to be one of the best runs in the Alps.
Its not just a resort for the jocks in ski socks though. The value for money and family friendly Hutten's all over the mountain are what makes it different to other ski arenas. They are fantastic, with a mix of old traditional and more modern Apres Ski style huttens.
Angertal is the middle meeting point and has a brilliant kids ski school and an excellent inter connecting lift system. Throw in its an hour and a bit from Salzburg by relaxing train (thats free!! with a lift pass) and you are laughing all the way to the slopes.
Ski hard and Ski safe my friends,
Gastein is the place for all :)
