What Skiers Say About Pal Arinsal

Pal Arinsal attracts predominantly beginner and intermediate skiers, with families and learners making up a significant portion of visitors. The resort is consistently praised for its affordability compared to Alpine destinations, with cheap food, drink, and lift passes mentioned across numerous reviews. Snow conditions receive mixed feedback—while some users report excellent coverage and powder, others note issues with melting snow, icy patches, and warm temperatures, particularly in late season. The ski school earns widespread approval from users at all levels. Advanced skiers and snowboarders find the terrain limited, though the Pal side offers more variety than Arinsal. Après-ski is described as decent but not lively, with a few well-liked bars but limited nightlife overall.

I have been to Andorra 3 times now with the lads and with my wife and daughters and it's been amazing everytime, once in Soldeu and twice in Arinsal now. My family and I have actually just returned from a weeks skiing in Arinsal last week and it was very very good for everybody, the ski school is great and my 5 year old twin girls were skiing with turns through poles in each direction like a little slalom and stopping at the end by the end of the week they did so well. My wife had morning private lessons and my middle daughter did the morning groups and I can't fault any of it. It's a small resort but very good and very well laid out, if it's a little small for some people usually the good skiers there is a 50 man cable car over to pal which is also great and a lot bigger. Everyone is friendly and it's very affordable such great value for money. There also the best apres ski bar/restaurant called Ciscos which we visited just about every day Jason the co owner was amazing and really looked after us and was very friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go back next near.

Had a wonder time in Arinsal with my family a couple years ago, great amenities, apres ski and friendly people. Although I did rack up a massive phone bill!! Didn't realize that Andorra wasn't one of the countries/ kingdoms included within my worldwide roaming package.... But all in all, great time.

Went last march as my first trip away. Very beginner friendly and has lots of steeper runs for more advanced riders. It was the end of the season so not much powder but off piste was still fun nonetheless !!

Good ski resort that is cheap and cheerful ! Some good eateries like Surf arinsal and 360 restaurant. There isnt much in terms of apres but a decent Irish bar that does kareoke and a few others in the centre as well as a small nightclub .Runs are decent and its a good for resort for beginners.

The ski school has been absolutely faultless in their teaching methods, from beginners to more experienced there is always something to learn and a new technique to pick up. David F especially has been incredible at boosting our groups confidence over the week. The resort is small and quiet with lovely picturesque architecture, free and paid buses run fairly regularly through the village though timetables do vary so you can explore more.Ski lifts run super smoothly to give you a seamless ski experience. Plenty of food areas to enjoy throughout but it could be made clearer if booking with Crystal and purchasing lunch vouchers, what restaurants accept these and on what terms. Kit hire and storage can be done in the village or at the top of the gondolas to save you carrying, great for big families.

Arinsal is a small village with access to a mid size mountain area. Pubs, bars and restaurants all within staggerable distance of each other. Locals are friendly and welcoming. Andorra is a tax haven, so alcohol and all kinds of other stuff that is usually taxed right up the wazoo - is bonkers cheap. A bonus. Local snowboard school Snowboard Coach are great guys offering a range of tuition across skill levels. Whether youre looking to extend the bone on your Indy and inject a little bit of steez to you melon, or you want to learn how to teach other noobs how to ride, Ash and the crew will happily take your money in exchange for witty double entendres and a wealth of riding knowledge. Ive visited several times and its a good time every time.

The only downside to Andorran snow resorts is that the closest airports are 2.5+ hours away.Transport links are decent enough though.(AndBus or hire car have both been easy & not expensive.)Pal-Arinsal is a wicked ski area for shorter, value for money trips on the mountains.2nd time there, will be going back.

As a family we love Arinsal. Our 3 boys learned to ski here, and so did we. The English instructors were amazing; patient, encouraging, and also pushing us just slightly out of our comfort zone so we progressed every year. It's snow sure, being high altitude, but also has excellent snow making. We have never been disappointed and have skied there at New Year, Feb half term and Easter. The runs are well kept with lots of variation, for everyone from beginner to Advanced. There's also a gondola across the valley to explore further afield which you can get to using the same ski pass. The Apres ski is great; family friendly but also lively and fun for the adults.Everything is really good value. The only reason we ever go anywhere else is the transfer time from the airport. I cannot recommend this resort enough.

Been here twice and loved it. The snow conditions were excellent and had some brilliant snow days. Doesn't feel as overcrowded as purpose built resorts in France and loved the small ski village vibes. Great nights out as well, apres was memorable! Would def go again.
