What Skiers Say About Grandvalira: Soldeu

Grandvalira: Soldeu draws primarily beginner and intermediate skiers, with families and mixed-ability groups featuring heavily. Reviewers consistently praise the ski school quality, wide and well-groomed pistes, and value for money compared to Alpine resorts. The resort is described as quieter and more relaxed than neighbouring Pas de la Casa, with limited but adequate nightlife. Common criticisms include long airport transfers, occasional lift closures, and limited challenging terrain for advanced skiers. Great weekend ski, stay up until 2am pretending youre 21 still. Enjoy and combine with a sun day or two on the coast to recover before returning to reality. you are welcomed by all the apple and cherry blossoms orchards on the way

Love going to Andorra. Cheap, good quality and all alcohol/cigarettes are duty free. Resort is large and whole ski area can be accessed via each town with busses to connect if you miss the last lift.

Love Andorra, my only gripe was the transfer from airport along the mountains Andorra was always the one resort that gave me the fear of heights,But well worth it when you got there, lots of skiing great hotel great skiing had a blast. Took my teenagers 18+ on their first spare ski with mum and dad. No words to be said was a late start the next day.

Excellent place where the whole of the resort is accessible. You can get straight up the piste on the gondolas and lifts and the runs are wide and quiet. Food and drink are cheap - even up the mountain! Would definitely recommend for all levels of ability.

Good resort for families and beginners. A few hotels to stay at with the the ones me and my friends staying at being good but quiet.Very quiet nightlife and atmosphere. The accessibility and ease of use was very good with rentals and lifts. Food choices outside the hotel are limited . Run choice is good as there is something for every level of skier. Being a beginner found the lessons good with teachers being patient and helpful. Overall good resort however on the quieter side and better for families.

Was in Andorra in 2023. Very powdery snow. Huge lift system, Highly connected with a lot of options. A good ratio of reds to blacks. Not many long blue runs. Food options are limited.
