we stayed in soldeu in a private chalet, food was very good and reasonably priced.
multiple ski lifts to chose from to get up the mountain our favourite was grau roig… slopes were very good and great area for beginners too. overall was very good

Ski conditions average but on the last day there was a massive dump so had the best last day going off piste and was amazing! Loads of off piste options, big ski area so plenty of options. My 1st trip to Andorra and will be going pack, may try staying in Pass next time to mix it up a bit.

andorra as a whole is a hidden treasure ( if you can cope with a long transfer) and soldeu itself was really cool. the ski area is huge and will definitely get your monies worth. we were there for the week and the most we ever waited for a lift was 1 minute ( no exaggeration). add to your list if you havent already!

The skiing school was great, truly helpful instructors and gradually but efficient improvement.
Soldeu is beautiful and has a good variety of restaurants and bars to enjoy and I found the food quality was amazing everywhere including in the mountain.
Prices are steep but that is expected, however I did find that paying more for a fantastic than a glass of wine was odd.
The apres ski was non existent, likely because it was end of season. But other than St Patrick's night, the bars were empty both after skiing and after dinner.
Overall I had an amazing time but my preference would be a more active night life, so I would return but likely during busier times.

Fantastic holiday, all runs well pisted overnight, manage any queues well. Quieter night life than pas de la Cass but we like that, still plenty of Apres ski to be done.

Whole town is close to the lift and easy acces to the shops. Stayed at Hotel Mirtil across the road from the lift- friendly plentiful food. Very little queues fot lifts, great variety of slopes and access to 5 towns on one lift pass.

Been to Andora several times but not for the last few years, we had a couple of beginners with us this year so knowing how good the ski school is we went back, we weren’t disappointed, it was just as good, it was a perfect week weather wise

Great little resort, we had ski lessons in the afternoon which meant a lazy breakfast and quiet gondala with a couple of hours skiing before our lessons. There are a couple of bars and restaurants in the town and a bus service that runs to the capital.

We have been to Soldeu for several years now. The ski school for our girls 8 and 10 is the best. Quiet lifts and pistes, reasonable prices and friendly people.

Soldeu may not be pretty but it works well. There are several hotels within 200 metre of the telecabine and I welcomed the availability of warmed ski-lockers at the foot of the te le cabine. The skiing compares very favourably with a medium-sized Alpine resort. The pistes are well groomed and there is a wide variety of runs from the top of the telecabine, especially blues and reds.

We absolutely love Andorra. We have visited various areas of the mountain but Soldeu is our favourite resort. Ski school is amazing, slopes are fantastic for all level. And its such good value

Proper top stuff really. Had never been skiing before but the hotel I stayed at was a door down from the lift which rarely had a queue or breakdown. The skiing itself was class although it had been very cold so was quite icy for a beginner. The ski school was great to help learn more.

Ski in to the hotel and spa. Amazing. Thick powder to your knees, all you can ask for really. Loads of lifts

I really enjoyed my time here is a great little village if your not looking to completly party like pas de la casa its a bit more chilled out and I like that about it.

Excellent snow this year made it beautiful skiing for intermediate skiers happy on red and blue pistes. We found it easy to navigate and lots of runs to explore. Some lifts were bottlenecks and had queues but most of the time we had no wait (this wasn't a busy/half term week). Top tip to make use of the single rider queues if happy to travel on the busiest lifts separate to your ski buddies)

Soldeu has been great for both me and my wife to develop our skiing. There are plenty of nice gentle, wide slopes for beginners and enough challenging slopes to test the more advanced skiers.

I recently returned from a skiing trip to Andorra, splitting my time between Soldeu and Pas de la Casa, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough. If you’re looking for world-class skiing without the "Alps price tag," this is the place to be.
The Grandvalira circuit is massive. Soldeu offered some of the most beautiful, tree-lined runs I’ve ever skied, with perfectly groomed pistes that are a dream for intermediates. When I wanted something a bit more high-altitude and lively, Pas de la Casa delivered in spades. The lift system is modern, fast, and remarkably efficient.
What sets Andorra apart is the atmosphere. There is a distinct, infectious Spanish energy here. The après-ski is vibrant but feels more authentic and welcoming than many of the more "exclusive" European resorts. Think sunny terraces, incredible tapas on the mountain, and a "work hard, play hard" spirit that keeps the energy high all week.
Unbeatable Value
The biggest takeaway for me was the value for money. From duty-free shopping to the cost of a beer or a mountain lunch, your money goes significantly further here than in France or Switzerland. You’re getting "A-list" snow conditions and infrastructure for a fraction of the cost.
Bottom line: If you want great snow, a sun-soaked Spanish vibe, and a bank account that doesn't hate you when you get home, get yourself to Soldeu and Pas de la Casa. I’ll definitely be back
