Great ski resort, situated right in the centre of the whole grandvalira ski area! Small quantity of pubs and restaurants but all great quality! Good value for money, had the most amazing trip!

Great family resort, the weather in April was fab - sunny, and plenty of snow. Slightly icy first thing in the morning and slightly slushy after 2pm, but long sunny days were worth the trade off!

Great trip and easy to get to from Barcelona so can combine two holidays into one. Does take a minute to get into the good ski areas though.

Great resort with loads of good, easy runs. Prices are reasonable although ski passes are expensive compared to other resorts. No real apres ski vibes.

Small village but with a few good pubs, especially the Harp, but with easy gondola and chair access to the middle of the huge Granvalira ski area. Easy to ski to Pas de la Casa or El Tartar for a change of scenery, everything from nice long blue and red runs to world cup black runs.

Stayed with Neilson holidays in a chalet. 13 in the group. Never had to queue for lights, several bluebird days, food good, skiing good, will be going back next year

Really family friendly resort. Had all the facilities needed to film my skiing for GCSE’s. Lots of nice runs to suit those who enjoy more quiet gentle skiing with intersecting harder runs so we all ended up in the same place. Easy access to the mountain with locker and gondola. Great hot chocolates stops. Really good food options for the evening (I’m a fussy eater too!) and on the mountain itself! Good value for money. Only downside is a decent trek from the airport.

Great resort for beginners, and the ski school was excellent. With access to three resort in Andorra the possibilities are endless and you can really go explore the mountains. Decent range of restaurants too once on the slopes. Apres ski is good but I’d say a little more limited compared to some of the bigger resorts unless you’re prepared to get the bus to the other close by resorts. Either way I still had a great time

We had a beginner in our group and wanted a value for money resort for a couple of students in the group. Soldeu did what we needed it to do on these points. It was more limited for the more experienced people. We also went at the end of the season amwhich we have done before in the Alps. There was some heroic piste bashing going on but afternoons were still unpleasant.
Very friendly place. Apres wasn't extensive but OK. Food was valued for money.

Grandvalira is a great ski resort in the country of Andorra.
Easy flights to get to and from the airport (Barcelona), it was only two buses to my hotel. Reasonably straight forward transfer.
Main highstreet of Soldeu (the town I stayed in) had enough food options and the hotels are all of good quality. The ski lift is one simply lift to the Grandvalira ski slopes and there are plenty of reds and blacks for the professionals and a great ski school for those wanting group or private lessons.
Lots of storage by the ski lifts and rental options. Would definitely return.

Grandvalira is a large and very accessible area.
There are lots of off piste opportunities albeit fairly short descents.
Good family resorts with lively apres ski and lots to do for non skiers both in resort or down the valleys.
English ski school available in Soldeu / El Tater. Group or private lessons at all levels from predominantly Canadian trained instructors.

Love SOldeu. We were maybe lucky as it had snowed for 2 days just before we got there, so the powder was brilliant.
Everyone seemed friendly , and the bars are good value for money.
To have a black run called "av-it", just sums up skiing !!!

Great fun

Great family resort. Intermediates very well catered for but sadly many of the more challenging reds and blacks were closed until our last day due to lack of snow. However snow to all Grandvalira resorts was great right into villages.

I go skiing with beginner skiers, find this place easy on the wallet, not too big, great night live. Limited black runs but I have fun on anything. Just good being with others having a laugh.
Flights and travel to the resort are always easy. Not sure about the night these days but hit it on a god proud and its fab.

Thoroughly enjoyable week spent with 2 young kids.
"This is the best day of my life" my son tells me on the ski lift!

Ski school amazing and the kids came on so well. Tutors we fantastic and nothing was too much trouble for them.

Hotel was a 2 minute minibus ride away and the hotel was very comfortable. Plenty of space and activities for the kids to be kept occupied in the evenings.

People very friendly and willing to strike up conversations nearly everywhere we went.

A great value holiday - not as expensive as France or Italy, but no better place for the kids to start out. Will definitely be back.
