What Skiers Say About Le Massif

Le Massif draws predominantly advanced and expert skiers who repeatedly mention the spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River and long, varied runs with strong tree skiing and glade options. Snow quality is frequently praised as better than other eastern Canadian resorts, though late-season icing is noted by several users. The gondola and lift system receives consistent positive feedback for speed and efficiency, with minimal wait times except on powder days or weekends. Reviewers frequently mention high prices for day passes, food, and accommodation, with limited on-hill lodging options outside the Club Med resort. The remote location north of Quebec City is seen as both a drawback for accessibility and a benefit for avoiding crowds.

It was a great resort to ski at, not great for beginners with the difficult terrain and ice during the late season, but the tree runs and glades were excellent

I went on a snowy day and it was awesome! The only thing about going on a snowy day is that you wont see the amazing view because of the fog. I went in april and there was still crazy powder riding. Going to the top was the best choice and it took about an hour and a half to go all the way to the bottom is was amazing! Awesome mountain!

Le massif is a jewel of a hill in thé Charlevoix region of Québec. Their modern installations, array of dining options and the good local feel make skiing here a lot of fun. As for the actual runs there is a variety, from slack country to double black , along with the only triple black that I have skied.
The lygori section of the mountain slack country is a must on powder days and the 20min hike is well worth it.
All this being said I do find that the mountain is expensive, with day passes running $125, and the extra charge for a scannable ticket seem exaggerated, and take away from an otherwise cool vibe.
Beer and drink prices have also skyrocketed in the past couple of years.
Bring a lunch, find a deal on a ticket.
The ski and atmosphere is really great

We only skied at le massif for two days but they were a blast! There was a great mix of trees, moguls, and groomed runs and the view was breathtaking, it really feels like youre floating above the water. It wasnt super busy and the lodge was nice too

Easily one of the best resorts in Quebec, really fun terrain and good customer service. But everything is pretty expensive and not very accessible for ski bums
