What Skiers Say About Le Massif

Le Massif draws predominantly advanced and expert skiers who repeatedly mention the spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River and long, varied runs with strong tree skiing and glade options. Snow quality is frequently praised as better than other eastern Canadian resorts, though late-season icing is noted by several users. The gondola and lift system receives consistent positive feedback for speed and efficiency, with minimal wait times except on powder days or weekends. Reviewers frequently mention high prices for day passes, food, and accommodation, with limited on-hill lodging options outside the Club Med resort. The remote location north of Quebec City is seen as both a drawback for accessibility and a benefit for avoiding crowds.

Club Med or other places to stay are great. To do anything after the hills closes you have to drive far into town. There is nothing onsite. The luge is worth a trip. If you just want to ski and rest this is a great place. The views are beautiful.

Great hill. Not too big but fun for skiing. Can get busy on the weekends. Snow lacks I. Jan but Feb/march is really good.

Great hill, runs in average are 3 km long - maxing views of the St Lawrence River. Parking is at the top of the hill, decent snow both natural and man made. Runs have lots of variance keeping you on your toes. Its a hill for skiers - not posers

Ski conditions were amazing but went early season so not all runs were open, there was enough powder on the more difficult runs to enjoy, no nightlife, the clubmed is catered to families and the bar closes at midnight. If you dont care about apres ski life and just want amazing runs, this is the place.

This is my favourite hill in Quebec. It is difficult, it has beautiful runs. They get lots of snow which makes it a completely new hill each time you go. The wind is nuts but as soon as you get on the runs the trees hide it all and youre in riding heaven. The views are spectacular, like your skiing into the St. Lawrence river. The Apres ski is cozy and cool, just want you want to get warm after a long day on the hill. Highly recommend it. 5stars

It was my second time snowboarding and I had a blast, even if I went down the moggles, that I had entered by accident, 90% on my butt. The view of the St. Lawrence River is unparalleled it feels like you're skiing down all the way to the water (you're not). They had a Piknic Elektronic as an après-ski, when I went, a heck of a party!
Plus you're in the most beautiful region of Quebec, barely an hour away from Quebec City and two hours away from the belugas in Tadoussac!

Great skiing, love that you have mutliple chair lifts and gondola exits so you get to decide your starting point. Also a really cool feature of Le Massif is you park the car on top of the mountain so you dont have to wait in line for chairs to start skiing. The mid-mountain restaurant is also a nice spot to eat.
The powder is great, the tree riding is pristine and the views if the St Lawrence Gulf are immaculate. Its definitely THE spot to go around Quebec city, but be prepared because a day at Le Massif is gonna set you back 200$ per person

Ski there with family friends about 3 times a year around Easter time when we were kids. One of the best ski resorts Ive been to around the East of Canada! The view on the St-Laurent river while skiing is amazing and the gondolas are perfect for chilly days. Makes for great long runs and perfect for new and experienced skiiers.
