the lifts operate well, the runs are well groomed and not too busy. During the later periods of the season they have groomed mogul runs which are well taken care of and a few jump-parks for those who are interested. The runs are not super long but it's about what you can get in Ontario. A bit expensive but so is everywhere else so the pricing is not too bad in comparison. Parking is ok but can get busy at peak times.

Mt st Louis Moonstone has the best powder, great selection of runs, very nice lifts (some are heated) for the price and location. A particular standout given that there isn’t many great options for snow sports in Ontario. The one major drawback about this resort was the busy slopes, and the distance of the parking lot to some of the Chalets. Bringing your equipment doesn’t make sense, so on those busy days you’ll need to change in the vehicle and walk quite a distance to start skiing.

Two great parks for any level with half pipe, simple to complex rails and boxes, and a variety of different jumps. Also a very cool snow cross/pump track. Great chair lifts (fast, heated, and efficient), good food, and have automated ski ticket machines that save a ton of time waiting at the ticket window if you purchased online. No off piste here or glade runs, but a variety of terrain for those looking for a straightforward skiing experience. The parks are top notch even compared to very large resorts.

Great spot to start learning. They have a beginner package that gets you the rentals, lessons and lifts. I was able to take a few beginner lessons since there weren’t many people when I went. Moonstone side is less people for lessons. Then they have beginner lift tickets for the cheapest in southern ON! Very much worth it.

I went on a day when the conditions were perfect. Unfortunately no matter how hard I tried every run was at max 45seconds and just to get on the lift again took 5-10 min not
Including the lift ride itself. I was disappointed with this place because it felt like a waist of money. They are charging just as much if not more than real mountains. This is just a hill and a pretty small one. If you’re an advance skier it’s probably not worth your time.

One of the better ski resorts in Ontario. All the runs are very versatile and accommodating for all levels of experience.

Great spot to ski if you want a decent hill not far from GTA but less volume than some of the other resorts. Not quite as many run options as somewhere like Blue Mountain but you can get many more runs in due to less people. Well groomed with not much ice. Makes for a great day!

This is my favourite mountain to ride right now! Not too far from home and was perfect for me starting out. There’s a nice small park option for those learning and bigger options for those looking to show off on the big jumps and rails. Would 100% recommend this to those learning or even an experienced rider just looking to have a great and fun day!

Mt St Louis Moonstone is a great option for skiers living within the greater Toronto area. It is our preferred resort of choice as it offers many runs that are family friendly and it is not overly busy like Blue Mountain resort can get. The lifts are fast, there are many run options and the slopes are well groomed. It’s great for beginners as well as intermediate skiers and it’s easy to navigate. The resort also offers night skiing which is a bonus. I’d say the draw back would be that there is no accommodation at the hill, but this also could be the reason the resort is a little less crowded.

Great overall ski resort! I go here a few times per year and always enjoy it. Lots of different trails, lifts aren’t too crazy busy, and their newest lift has heated seats and foot rests. Overall a great time

Smaller southern Ontario Canada resort. Unmatched snowmaking, all high speed chairlifts, great snow this year. 3 parks for every skill level.

Relative to other Ontario hills, Louis is my favourite, best snow makers and never busy during weekdays. Awesome food and cool events!

Excellent ski making equipment and LED lighting. The lodges are quite nice as well.

All the runs were groomed well and we quite enjoyed the new 8 person lift with heated seats. This was a nice treat for our bums.
Unfortunately the day we went freezing rain was coming (and it did!) therefore the resort closed at 4pm so our day got cut short. Understood though. We definitely felt the freezing rain on our faces on our last run. The beaver tails still tasted great after that though.
We will still return whenever we can as it's one of the next besr local resorts (not private) in Ontario other than Blue Mountain.

Good family owned resort, really good snow even on warm days - they invest in snow makers

I really enjoyed our trip! The runs were well grommed. There was heavy snow fall so conditions were great.

My only con was how busy it was due to Christmas vacation. There were people everywhere.

Overall had a great time and will be back!

Family owned and operated ski hill in Ontario, Canada. Great staff! Always friendly and helpful. I get a pass every year and you can see they’re always upgrading the place with new lifts, etc. to make it a great experience for people who visit.

Very nice runs however terrain park lesson booking is more difficult than other resorts. Requested instructor is not guaranteed and not every instructor is able to teach park. No park specific private lesson. Have to request park in notes section.
