What Skiers Say About Panorama Mountain

Panorama attracts a wide range of skiers and snowboarders, from beginners to experts, with many families and repeat visitors. The most consistent themes are minimal lift queues, excellent grooming, long runs with significant vertical, and true ski-in/ski-out accommodation. Reviewers frequently mention Taynton Bowl for powder and off-piste terrain, though several note that snowfall can be inconsistent and conditions occasionally icy. The resort is described as quiet and uncrowded, with limited nightlife and dining options. Advanced and expert riders appreciate the variety of terrain, while some find the lift setup inconvenient with multiple stops and flat traverses.

Great resort! The lift set up is a little weird and for my snowboarder friends is can be a nightmare getting up all the way to the top as they have to strap in and out a bunch and have to deal with that massive flat run to get up the last lift but this resort is a lot of fun. Some great groomers to rip down and some awesome powder to be found in the bowl.
Fun and long runs but also a fair amount of easy runs for those not very confident.

I have been skiing at Panorama for a few weeks now and everything is amazing. The selection of different slopes is great, there are great off piste routes, double black diamonds but also green runs as well. So over all its an amazing resort:)

The lift ticket price is high. Priced like a luxury hill, when it doesn't have a tonne of lifts, and they're your average high speed quad., and the lodge is simple and crowded.
Most of the day, a liftie was not directing traffic in the lines, and patrons needed a lesson in ski line etiquette.

Incredible. Canada was fantastic, possibly the best ski trip ive been on. Everything about the mountain was perfect, runs were exceptional, and there were for every level of skiing ability. The off-piste was brilliant and challenging in places. Definitely recommend

I love panorama its a very fun ski resort. It offers cat skiing where they take you with a groomer somewhere in the bank country and drop you off there where its only you and your friends. It also offers night skiing which is cool

Panorama is a very underrated resort. There are a lot of people that come back year after year. Everyone that works there is super nice! Some many friendly people on the lifts. The runs are not busy at all and most of the nice Ill have the runs to myself. After a snowfall therell be powder for days since so so many runs and not many people.

If you want quiet slopes to shred some corduroy, this is the place to go to. Paired with some excellent steeper runs through Taynton, it's an excellent all round venue that is bigger than you'd expect. No lift queues, quite runs, friendly staff and reasonably priced good quality food.

Being a young rider this is my favourite hill by far. Hidden park with a secret trail!!!! Count me in. I love coming here and have a great experience every time without fail. Im usually being dragged along by my brother and he gets the most out of every run we do together even though we have to stick to ones within my ability. The lodge is huge and well planned out so its not just person soup all day. There are runs for everyone and being a mountain biking hill all the trails are there in the winter and super fun to follow. I have gone from beginner to doing some crazy backside double blacks in a matter of days. And the beginner park is separated from the advanced one allowing me to build my skill surrounded by others my skill level and not being intimidated. The perfect hill. Deep pow good food it has it all.

Absolutely sick hill. Super easy to get too with tons of parking and accommodations to stay right at the hill. Lifts are fast and well positioned to reduce lines and keep everyone spread out around the mountain. The easy runs are beautiful and different and there are lots of them. There is also patrolled hikeable back country terrain in Taynton Bowl where you can shred brand new lines for hours. And the park is right close to the bottom off the fastest lift so that if thats your jam you dont have to sit in a ton of lines. Fantastic hill you can shred gnar and have gnarly fun for days.

Ive skied at panorama every year since I was 10 and the snow keeps getting better every year, lately we have gotten 60 cms in 48 hrs which lead to an outstanding opening day with tayton bowl be bizarre. Overall panorama is a genuinely good family friendly resort to help you kids learn and grow on along with great terrain as they get older and more experienced

As a lifelong skier at Panorama its hard to have a bad day. The hill is very diverse in terms of the types of different runs. It has long greens and bunny hills for beginners and steep cliffs and powder off the summit chair (some runs you ah e to hike too) for expert skiers. I will note that at some points panorama can be prone to icy conditions. With three chair lifts to the top youll be guaranteed long runs with beautiful views on long days. Favourite run - view of 1000 peaks from the summit!!!
