What Skiers Say About Panorama Mountain

Panorama attracts a wide range of skiers and snowboarders, from beginners to experts, with many families and repeat visitors. The most consistent themes are minimal lift queues, excellent grooming, long runs with significant vertical, and true ski-in/ski-out accommodation. Reviewers frequently mention Taynton Bowl for powder and off-piste terrain, though several note that snowfall can be inconsistent and conditions occasionally icy. The resort is described as quiet and uncrowded, with limited nightlife and dining options. Advanced and expert riders appreciate the variety of terrain, while some find the lift setup inconvenient with multiple stops and flat traverses.

Panorama is a large resort surrounded by a quiet ski village. The lodging options are affordable and accessible right from the lifts. Night skiing is one of the highlights and although there is only one run open at night it still makes for a unique experience. The lifts can be a bit confusing and if there hasn't been a good amount of snow fall be prepared for mogals on pretty much every run that's not green.

It was my first time at the hill and overall a very good experience. The hill although predominantly taken over by skiers is good for both. Nice bars at the bottom of the hill. You can get away from the crowds by taking smaller lifts. Good tree areas and groomed runs are nice and flat. Overall would recommend and will visit again.

Snow can be lean here but when its good its great. Long groomers. Can always find snow at the top. Staff is friendly, lift lines quick. Village can be busy and not a lot of options for food so its busy. Great for families. Can find a variety of accom. Not too far from Invermere. Great casual hill and town. Not high end glamour .

Panorama has been one of the highest rated ski resorts in my travel journal. This mountain is an all-around crowd-pleaser from the groomed blue runs, massive train park, and multiple powder runs, makes me come back every year. This mountain is well worth the money to spend a day or even a week in absolute bliss.

Love rocking up to mile1 lift with little to no lines getting on with ease and making my way up. Runs from easy to advanced are nice and wide and so much space its never over crowded.

Panorama resort works well as it is all run by one company.
The ski hire and ski school and accommodation are linked so that it is all very smooth and easy once you arrive.
The ski school instructors were excellent for all our children.
The main lift up called Mile Express was quick and had no major queues.
The groomed slopes were awesome, wide and really quiet.
There were lots of ungroomed, powder runs which were amazing, especially thought the trees.
The Taynton Bowl was thrilling off piste skiing.
My favourite was the Founders area slopes.
There aren't too many options for eating but the food was great throughout all the restaurants we tried.

Great mountain great time. Must visit the village is great and 20 min away is a little ski town as well with tons of stuff. Must go to the summit restaurant good food and booze for a decent price. Runs are sick for all levels not super busy other than weekends in season and if ur not in the hotel or village radium hot springs is 40 min away so u can soak after a day out.

Overall it is a great all mountain resort with skiing for all levels, very long runs, great leg burners! It is a little harder to get to so lift lines are very low.
One of my favorites!

Panorama Hill is a fantastic hill for all levels of skiers and snowboarders. It is big enough that you can almost ski a different run all day, but small enough you wont get lost. They do night skiing, which is big plus. Some say the hill tends to be icy, however that is not necessarily my experience. Ive had great snow and powder on Pano.

I also love that it is only 20 mins from the town of Invermere, so its easy to get to, and you dont have to eat at the hill if youre not feeling it.

Id definitely recommend Panorama Ski Hill.

Panorama is a great resort for it's consistency and ability to open terrain thanks to their early season snow making. Their groomers are always solid and filled in beautifully but dipping off into the trees you'll find endless fun and great pockets of hidden snow. Great variety of terrain in terms of difficulty and snow quality. They don't by any means get the snowpack of Revelstoke or kicking horse but I can honestly say I've never had a bad ski day at pano.

Ive gone here my whole life and love it have so many good memories with family and friends. They are always consistent with there events like new years and the resort its self is out of this world. The mountain is easy to get around on. The only thing I dislike is there is way to many places you can get confuse and go the wrong way but other than that great resort

I have been skiing Panorama since I was a kid (10-15years) and I can quite honestly say that I have never been disappointed with it. Although the lodge is beautiful and the staff is so friendly, youll never find anywhere else that makes you feel like you are in a tiny village lost in the mountains this Panorama. I will never forget Panorama gave me the best skiing experience of my life as it snowed all night and day and the powder and tree runs felt like I was on a cloud! After having some amazing skiing in the back side bowls we would hit the summit lodge and have a couple drinks and food which always tasted amazing! I highly recommend everyone and anyone to go to Panorama this year!

Did a season here, quietest resort ever, never queued for a lift. Amazing off piste bowl that funnels back into the resort. Snowfall wasnt great and ice was often apparent. Apres can be lacking but if ur with a group of friends its great. Great for families.
