Fun Mountain, the snow is average at best.
Almost no lineups during the week M-F
Top to bottom 15-18 min ripping.
Cool terrain on the Boomerang side when its open. Which seams rare.
Super family, friendly and great for kids. The ski school is awesome.
Parking is free.
There are some accommodations. And if its full with more accommodations in the villages below the mountain.
Theres one pub and a cafeteria.

Mt Washington boasts a family friendly resort. The lift lines are short during weekdays and minimal waits on weekends. The tree skiing and groomers are highlights of the mountain. As a parent I love that I can let my kids roam and never be to far away from them. The mountain has a fair variety of easy, moderate and Experienced runs to challenge all. The snow quality is predominantly natural however in drought years snow making does occur. Also the snowfall here can provide 20+cm dumps however the snow quality is a heavier variety unless you catch a cold snap.

The ski resort is very good for the size of the mountain with plenty of terrain that every person no matter what level can enjoy. The back side has very fun and challenging terrain but lacks the diversity of bigger mountain. The front side always has something and on a powder day I can usually continue to find some fresh pow all the way till closing time. The groomers are not the greatest but they are fun to try carving but take that with a grain of salt I don't like groomers.

I had so much fun skiing this mountain with my friends/family we had a few great powder days were tree skiing was great mt Washington has multiple magic carpets,2 four person chairs and one six person chair all of which are relatively new, comfortable and fast it is a great mt if your learning how to ski, skiing with friends and or family.

Great family hill. A bit icy in the morning. Ski school is fantastic. I started skiing there when I was 11.

Mount Washington is a powder day kind of mountain. When it snows on the island IT SNOWS. It is not unusual to see 70cm in a day. And on days like that the trees are to die for. The off piste runs have great fall line and funnel you back to where you want to be quite easily. However on days with suboptimal conditions you are pretty limited to what runs are groomed. Fun hill but it's pretty much your only option on Vancouver island

Excellent accommodation friendly staff food was great hill was spectacular parking could be better could do with more beginner intermediate tree runs

Mount Washington is a small resort on Vancouver Island with a local, family vibe. For beginners, there are great lesson deals to be had here that include access to discounted passes and gear. There is no village at Mount Washington and dining options are very limited. Accommodation at the mountain is difficult to find unless booking far in advance.

Great family resort! Easy to get to being close to town. Parking is sometimes an issue if you dont get there early but overall a great resort

A good resort for the family expensive but better priced then most resorts of the same size.
Let's face it... Large Resort ski resorts are all over priced.

great slack country and there are some sweet runs if you know where to look. Boomerang is awesome if its open, sunshine and eagle are great all the time. I really enjoyed skiers right of eagle chair. The two jumps are weirdly built and require and absurd amount of speed for jumps that small

great resort to learn on, the ski school is amazing with plenty of different programs, you certainly grow out of the mountain as you age due to its smaller size but for being the only local resort around it is fantastic!

There wasnt too much snow the first day but all the snow machines helped. The second day was awesome, it was a massive snow fall for me to shred in all day. There was only one lift open at the time but there was very little people there.

the mountains are nice for older, more calm people but for young people i recommend somewhere else a little more upbeat

Its a great mountain for families. Lines never get too big in comparison to others. Staff are really helpful. The only issue is that its on Vancouver island where the weather can be unpredictable but other than that a great hill. Compared to other hills the price is very reasonable and they do a great job at keeping the roads clear and is only 20 minutes from town.

Mount Washington is a great place for locals to Vancouver Island. They have made some great improvements over the years! The snow quality can be hit and miss, but overall a great option for some decent shredding.

Mt Washington is the main ski hill on the Island. Due to the location, it's often warm and there are a lot of wet days on the hill. There is a main lodge with a few different options for food including a Cafe, restaurant, and cafeteria. The "Outback" area provides the steeps and challenging terrain on the mountain.
