Best spot in Van for spring laps! They always set up really fun park features, the views of the area are a cool mix of urban and natural and it's a quick commute up from the city. You can also spot lots of wildlife up here!

Great small local Vancouver hill. I grew up on this hill. Limited terrain, but a good variety. Great little parks. Some good off-piste spots. Ask a local!

I went twice at Mt Seymour to enjoy their Night Lift Passes. I could Snowboard for over 4hours and the whoole experience was awesome. The first time it was snowing, so there was lots of powder areas to have fun. Second time it wasn't snowing for over a week, an as they don't have any snowmakers at the resort, a few parts of the tracks were very icy and a little dangerous. Overall, it's a great place to practice and have fun without spending too much money

Mt Seymour is the most family friendly mountain near Vancouver. The management really cares for the employees and customers and makes for a great atmosphere. The lines are never crazy and the runs are super fun. I could spend hours here

Love Seymour so much we decided to get seasons passes., only issue is that we had to wait almost an hour to get up the mountain and park with traffic which cut into our 4 hour window

All the runs are groomed according to their staff so I guess theres no off piste terrain, Im not sure. Indeed the runs I have encountered are all groomed and short. The chairs are slow. Good for a beginner.

Amazing family run resort! As they don't have or rely on snow making machines, the snow is softer and better condition than other nearby resorts. They offer a lot of value for money as well, and really care about the people that work and visit there.

Was here for my time as a beginner, great resort to learn on. Bunny hill is a magic carpet which helps a lot for riding. Once past beginner the slopes will seem easy and may probably want to move on to larger resorts. Bonus is carpark proximity to lifts and lodges is the best out of the three Vancouver resorts

To me cypress is a mountain you go to if you wanna go on some fun tree runs. As a local bc mainland resident there are three main mountains to go to. Grouse, cypress, and Seymour. Each have a list of pros and cons. I dont like how Seymour has a lift that funnels all riders through a smallish bend around the peak. My favourite thing about Seymour is the tree runs. I havent been in a long time due to poor snowboarding conditions in bc (too warm) but what I remember is the fast tree runs with tight banks through the forest.

Tried a season here and regretted it versus local options. They use an online reservation system that opens at 7 am aka. working hours and sells out in minutes for limited passholder reservation slots. Longer lines than grouse but less than cypress. Good family friendly resort but the entire resort is split into 3 spots with flat traverses in-between you can't link the top to the bottom without traversing multiple times. Good tree runs for learning with wider spacing and many lines. Would not recommend until they change the reservation system for a season pass

Its a cool place that is great for beginners. I started on this mountain, and it has been great to me, but definitely lacks in size and quality of runs. Definitely would rather go to another ski hill if you were more advanced. Overall okay hill thats pretty small and good for beginners.

Very nice, family owned ski resort that gets lots of powder on a good cold day. Not as busy as cypress and good cafe

Great mountain for those who like side hits and park runs. Got some tree runs but not too much. The recently added lights make night ride great. And the way they do their tickets the mountain is never packed to the absolute max. People complain about the short runs however with the way they got it youll be doing laps for days. Great mountain with some good back country options and decent jumps and parks. Not too many blacks and no double blacks but if you like air time and tree runs mixed with some good speed on wide blue runs this is perfect

Mt Seymour is a gem for families and anyone looking for a quieter local mountain experience. The terrain may be a bit shorter compared to other North Shore options, but it makes up for it with plenty of fun sidehits and features to keep things interesting. The food is reasonably priced, which is a nice bonus for those planning to spend the whole day on the slopes. However, parking can be a bit of a challenge, especially on weekends when reservations are requiredplan ahead to avoid any frustration. Overall, Mt Seymour is a fantastic choice for a laid-back day on the mountain, especially if youre with kids or just looking for a more relaxed vibe.

Seymour is a great option for those who live towards the east in Vancouver and in suburbs east of Vancouver. The runs tend to be easier than other local mountains, so its great for beginners and families. The terrain park is also the best of the local mountains. Its also an affordable mountain to ski on, with deals that make it cheaper than the other local mountains. All of that said, serious non-park skiers would get bored by its limited advance terrain.

Parking is always terrible - little dye to mark areas would be helpful. The limited to four hours on the mountain is a money grabbing joke. However the staff is helpful and accommodating

Best bang for family bucks . Leave kids at the ski school and enjoy leisurely day skiing above the clouds on foggy days . Or try night skiing with the lights of Vancouver below. Make sure u have good winter rated tires as the road can get slippery when the snow is falling. Lots of tix pack deals available.

Great little resort with night skiing, making it a great choice for mixing skiing with your workday. Going on weeknights will result in short lines, great vibes, and fun skiing. If you can only make these hours, the "value season pass" is a great option. The park crew at Mt Seymour do a great job, and build fantastic medium to large jumps every year. If snow allows, you'll find jumps scattered around the small mountain, making for a fun lap.
