Best bang for family bucks . Leave kids at the ski school and enjoy leisurely day skiing above the clouds on foggy days . Or try night skiing with the lights of Vancouver below. Make sure u have good winter rated tires as the road can get slippery when the snow is falling. Lots of tix pack deals available.

Great little resort with night skiing, making it a great choice for mixing skiing with your workday.
Going on weeknights will result in short lines, great vibes, and fun skiing. If you can only make these hours, the "value season pass" is a great option.

The park crew at Mt Seymour do a great job, and build fantastic medium to large jumps every year. If snow allows, you'll find jumps scattered around the small mountain, making for a fun lap.

I used to go to mount Seymour on scholl trips and have made lasting memories. The only issue is the mountain is always overcrowded and has gotten more expensive in recent years.

Very cheap lift ticke. But at the weekend, just can stay for 4 hours. Can renew, but take long time. Cheap and small family resort. Very worth it

Mount Seymour is a relatively small mountain. However it does a lot with what its got. It has a terrain park that is located by itself so those that are focused on honing their tricks can ride all day there without having to line up for the lift. The mountain offers a variety of terrain for different kinds of riding. The lines for the lift move very quickly and there is usually a limited amount of riders on the mountain so it never feels too busy or crowded. All in all it is one of the best mountains in the area in terms of bang for your buck.

I was there last season, which was a very bad one for the Canadian west coast, for around 12 days. Family friendly, never crowded and, when the Brockton chair is operating, the snow up there is very good. Dont ride park but people say is very good.
Mountain of choice for some of the local pros.

Best mountain in Vancouver, and the only family owned resort in the region. They're open late, so it's perfect to get a few after-work laps in.

The Seymour backcountry also has tons to offer if you want to get out on the touring setup.

Highly recommend

Very family/kids friendly resort. Weekends and holidays required reservations for better crowd control and ensure parking availability. We have been with them for 2 seasons with their season passes. Parking to the lift chairs are always within steps. Worst time was around 5 mins walk. Perfect for family with kids!

Even with quad chairlifts it can be a long wait at the lift and the runs are short quite crowded some days and the parking lot is very challenging they use a lottery system for parking and can suffer from bad snow especially this past year.

Season pass holder for multiple years at Seymour and just have to say that they are a great mt. Has a bit of everything you need few good tree sections, couple of flat spots where you have to keep your speed up but overall a great mountain to ride

Mt Seymour is the least busy mountain in metro Vancouver, has the second best parks with features for everyone, worst mountain in terms of how much skiable area is available, food is good but too expensive, but the mountain over all is easy to get to for most people in the Vancouver area and by far the cheapest to ski at.

A great local hill to hit up if you live in or are staying near Vancouver. Its generally not too busy, and has a decent variety of runs for everyone from beginner to pro. It doesnt have a village or the word renown of somewhere like Whistler, but if you just want to spend a solid day skiing or riding, its a great place to do it.

I spent a season skiing here and I felt like I saw everything halfway in the season. Theres barely any advanced terrain which sucked for me since I was trying to get good, but I would say its really good for beginners! Terrain park is good and overall the resort is very affordable compared to the other options on the North Shore.
