Manning Park is a great place to get away to. They have downhill & lots of cross country runs. Not a lot of eating out options though. So, pack food with you. They have a year round campsite as well, if you have an rv.

Great family friendly hill with amazing snow. Shot lift lines but lots of starting and stopping once on chair due to many beginners riding. As an advanced skier it's not as exciting as I am like but great for families and beginners.

Best place to experience the outdoors of a Canadian winter and all its activities with the family. Snowshoe around frozen lakes, skate at an outdoor rink, hike, ski, sled. Accommodation options include cabins, lodge, and winter camping. A common building has indoor swimming pool, hot tub, steam room and sauna.

A cute little resort and great place to learn to ski without having to pay expensive lift tickets. Not much going on food wise and most skiers tailgate during lunch breaks. 2 chair lifts, nothing fancy. Apres Ski is non existent and more suited for families with young children. Staff and locals are very friendly. Beautiful drive up to the ski hill through Manning Park. Worth checking it out.

Drivable from the coast in a day, quiet mountain. Great snow. Not as busy as local North Van mountains.

Great for the price. Nice powder and friendly staff. Disappointed that their food prices were jacked up this year but their soup is still awesome and reasonable. The green chair always had a line up, but the blue chair hardly ever has one at all. I have a season pass for my family as its reasonably priced.
