Manning Park Resort Review Summary

Manning Park Resort is consistently described as a small, family-oriented mountain approximately two hours from the Fraser Valley, popular with beginners and families with young children. Multiple reviewers across skill levels mention minimal or non-existent lift lines, affordable lift tickets and season passes, and good snow quality relative to other local resorts. The resort has two chairlifts servicing a limited amount of terrain, with reviewers noting tree runs, moguls, and some hiking options for those willing to explore. Advanced and expert skiers frequently state the mountain lacks sufficient challenging terrain and amenities, with limited food options and virtually no après-ski scene. Several users highlight the friendly staff and old-school, low-key atmosphere.

I have skied manning for a number of years and its an awesome hill to learn on and its great that its only a few hours drive from home so you can go for a day trip. It has a good amount of terrain and it is a great mountain for a couple days but the accommodation and amenities are limited. Even though its lacking in some areas its still a great hill to drive to from the Fraser Valley.

Love the small ski hillsthis one is quickly becoming longer lines, in need of some upgraded lifts or more terrain.

I buy a season pass for a family of six for less than a single person season pass at any other mountain. Its basically free skiing. And its pretty decent!

Our family has skied at manning park since 1988 when our three sons were very small boys. We live it there and still go. Im 75 and my husband is 77 now. We have super season passes. The mountain has seen changes but essentially it has maintained its marvellous ambiance . Greatest gift is that there is something for everyone and every level of skier and boarder.. its friendly and yet also challenging and figure brave you can go off into some very challenging areas.. service is great price is very reasonable excellent place to divert family and friends .. low key and safe great instructors and ski patrollers makes u feel like home. Certainly over the past many many years this is our home mountain

I have skied at manning for around 5 seasons now, it is a great beginner resort but for skiers wanting to take it to the next level I suggest a different resort. Off piste terrain can be good if you no where to look. Overall manning is great for beginners but doesnt have a lot to offer for advanced skiers.

Really quite resort with fantastic groomed blue slopes. Awesome powder stashes in the tree runs that last for a long time due to the extremely quite slopes during the week. Very busy during the weekend.

Food is great and also at good prices. Very friendly staff. Very small park but you come here for the groomers and the powder

The resort doesnt have a whole lot to offer with only two chairs but for the price I think its definitely worth the money. I recommend this resort to anyone trying to learn the way of the snow sports.

Manning park has great staff that are extremely helpful and will answer any questions .Skiing at manning is really great with tons of fresh powder and fun runs all over the mountain. But is lacking in accommodations and restaurants near the hill along with the parking lot being really small and at times having to park on the side of the road when the lot is filled.
