This mountain offers great views of downtown vancouver, day and especially night time! It is more often than not clear.
Food is expensive but very good.
Dont come here if you love tree runs, youll probably get more of those at cypress.

Very convenient close to downtown. Can get expensive without a ski pass. Had some nice runs.
Other activities available include snowshoeing, ice skating and hiking. It is very family friendly.

Small resort with great views and beautiful sunsets. Grouse is in a great location only 30 minutes from Vancouver city centre, night skiing makes for a lovely evening activity after work. Not always got the best snow but once it all opens up its got enough runs and terrain for all levels of riders. Excellent terrain parks with all kinds of features.

Best view in the area.
Not a large variety of runs to choose from, can get repetitive quickly.
Gondola to access resort can sometimes have issues and low capacity means having to wait to even get up, or sometimes down.
No big reason to return for me.

For a mountain that is a bus ride away from a main city, this place is great! You start from the bottom and by the time you get to the top, your suddenly in the alpine and surrounded by snow. If you love groomers they have plenty to go around, from very chill greens to steeper blacks. The park ends up being sick because there is a tow bar, which is honestly amazing for park progression. If you don't want to go for the hard stuff just yet, they have other smaller parks as well to practice on first. They also have night skiing which is a plus.

I love Grouse Mountain for skiing and sunsets, and the new blue gondola is awesome. Its faster to get up the mountain, and the ride from the city is super short.

I love skiing at Grouse Mountain! Its so close to Vancouver (1h drive) that its easy to go for a day trip or weekend. The views are stunning and the ski lift is pretty efficient. Only downside is the difficulty level of their easiest run. Their easiest run has some very steep parts and Ive seen quite a few people lose control.

I personally love to be very close to the city but the snow this year is pretty bad. Almost no trails

Grouse Mountain is a very beautiful place because of the easy access from the city, but because it is so close to the sea it is difficult to get good snow. When there is a lot of snow, it has many black runs that are fun and it has a park to learn tricks and jumps that is very good. I hope this year there will be good snow, since last year and so far this season have been bad.

This resort is pretty small with limited runs open early in the season. Still, the resort is nicely maintained, has some great runs and staff are very friendly. Amazing views of Vancouver from some of the runs, pretty unique ski resort in that aspect.
