The Least Crowded Ski Resorts in France
Updated September 2026
Finding peace on the pistes is increasingly rare as Europe's resorts get busier each season. Our ranking of resorts with the quietest slopes helps you escape the crowds and enjoy more runs with less waiting. Check out our other rankings for Lift Efficiency, Powder Zones and Value for Money too.
This list is built exclusively on real skier feedback – no marketing spin or paid placements. One Snomad community member liked Les Arcs specifically because "you can always find quieter runs even during peak weeks." We only include resorts with sufficient ratings to ensure reliable rankings.
