Grand Targhee is the perfect small town resort. Its situated amongst the beautiful Grand Tetons and offers just a couple lifts. Its great for families, students, and individuals looking to get away from it all and enjoy sliding.

Targhee is great resort with a little bit of everything. There's lots of groomers, lots of hard runs, lots of easy runs, amazing pow days, great scenery, good terrain parks, and much more. The locals around the resort are also super nice people. Weekends can get busy, but during the week there is almost no lines to get on the lifts.

Great run selection for all levels and some great off piste and powder options. Great mountain to explore and it is one that definitely would be best experienced over more than one day.

Grand Targhee is one of my favorite ski resorts. The amount of snow that they get annually is insane and allows for amazing conditions 90% of the season. The lifts are fairly quick and they are actively looking for ways to make the resort nicer. I feel like the terrain park and other features could be expanded to other parts of the mountain as their current terrain park options are fairly small. It is very hard to lap the big park consistently as you have to ski a whole run - 80% of which is not park. The off piste and free-ride options are great though. It's slowly getting more crowded and expensive, but I still love skiing here as the terrain and backcountry options from the resort are wonderful. Hands down some of the deepest days of my life here. As a local though, I'm required to tell you to go to Jackson and leave Targhee for the rest of us

We had a great time skiing here late season. Parking was free and right next to the slopes, tickets were cheap, and lifts were empty. It felt like discovering an undiscovered gem from the '70s! Terrain is playful and accessible, very much worth a visit.
