Very expensive but worth it, absolutely huge resort with trails and runs for people of every level, a decent sized terrain park too. The food is over priced but where is it not overpriced, the lodging is superb and the employees are helpful and understanding. The best ski resort Ive been to in my life. And dont forget the most beautiful powder days you can imagine, feet of fluffy goodness everywhere, but of course theres well groomed trails as well

There is terrain for all here. I was able to find powder stashes among among tree runs. Glades with roller and fun terrain. The lift speed is a bit slow but it's not a big deal because the lines were small. The pub at the base had great food and drink options for lunch and Après. The nearby by town of Driggs had excellent food. Gastro pubs to amazing curry, ever dinner my group had was great.

A great resort with consistently excellent snow. Great value and never too crowded. I'm sad that I can't ski there more often.

Great resort for some laid back fun powder skiing. Its gotten a bit busier over the years but it still has a small town local feel. The variety of skiing is awesome tree runs, cliffs and groomers. Enough variety to have fun all day.

I love the ghee but it has gotten so expensive over the years. Now that I have a family it is almost unfeasable to take them all.

i moved here from florida to work on the resort and learn to snowboard. all of the employees ive met thus far have been great, super friendly, and are always willing to help me improve. the vibes here are pretty unmatched. they also have free public transit up&down the mountain. the snow has also been great, had every lift open the first week of the season. they really seem to have their stuff together management wise and are great at communicating to employees and guests about literally anything. i never feel out of the loop. ive met a bunch of old timers that have been skiing/boarding for years and years and they always tell me how no other resort matches up to targhee!!

My favorite resort - The new Colter lift gives an amazing view of the Tetons.
All the chairlifts now are high speed. It can get busy on the weekends. Parking lot fills up on the weekends typically.
They have done a great job expanding the park the last few years.
If you want a chill experience with great terrain and snow forget Jackson H and go to Targhee.

I have skied over 20 resorts across the US. This is one of my favorite resorts I have skied it many times. The temperature from the top to the bottom can be quite dramatic though, so you will be sweating when you hit the bottom, but you will be freezing when you hit the top. Some of the best terrain out there and the roads are fantastic. They have one of the best half pipes ever, although I am getting to go to play that game anymore. Ive been skiing since I was 12 and I am now 50. it never seems too overcrowded, and they do a great job of keeping the resort up.
The price is fair for what you get with this resort, which is rare to find more in the US. Great resort go if you can.

Grand Targhee is the perfect small town resort. Its situated amongst the beautiful Grand Tetons and offers just a couple lifts. Its great for families, students, and individuals looking to get away from it all and enjoy sliding.

Targhee is great resort with a little bit of everything. There's lots of groomers, lots of hard runs, lots of easy runs, amazing pow days, great scenery, good terrain parks, and much more. The locals around the resort are also super nice people. Weekends can get busy, but during the week there is almost no lines to get on the lifts.
