Targhee has the small mountain feel with big mountain terrain. Its a locals mountain. But has some of the best snow in the country. Targhee is by far my favorite mountain Ive skied.

My favorite resort - The new Colter lift gives an amazing view of the Tetons. All the chairlifts now are high speed. It can get busy on the weekends. Parking lot fills up on the weekends typically. They have done a great job expanding the park the last few years. If you want a chill experience with great terrain and snow forget Jackson H and go to Targhee.

Absolutely great freeride resort with loads of cliffs and endless powder, Im always out here in March for the 2* freeride comp and its a blast to watch or compete in! The views are amazing, its the hidden gym on the other side of Jackson Hole

I have skied over 20 resorts across the US. This is one of my favorite resorts I have skied it many times. The temperature from the top to the bottom can be quite dramatic though, so you will be sweating when you hit the bottom, but you will be freezing when you hit the top. Some of the best terrain out there and the roads are fantastic. They have one of the best half pipes ever, although I am getting to go to play that game anymore. Ive been skiing since I was 12 and I am now 50. it never seems too overcrowded, and they do a great job of keeping the resort up. The price is fair for what you get with this resort, which is rare to find more in the US. Great resort go if you can.

Grand Targhee is the perfect small town resort. Its situated amongst the beautiful Grand Tetons and offers just a couple lifts. Its great for families, students, and individuals looking to get away from it all and enjoy sliding.

Targhee is great resort with a little bit of everything. There's lots of groomers, lots of hard runs, lots of easy runs, amazing pow days, great scenery, good terrain parks, and much more. The locals around the resort are also super nice people. Weekends can get busy, but during the week there is almost no lines to get on the lifts.
