Winter-place Ski Resort is a great place to ski. However for travelers, this ski resort is smaller than most. The reason I personally like Winter-place so much is because of the availability I have to it because It is right down the road. Also Winterplace can be big enough especially for beginners, they have a great bunny slop and instructors there as well. The beginners also have many many trails to choose from once they have learned how to ski, and if they learn how to ski East Coast conditions they can ski just about anywhere.

Had an awesome time. Great value for money. Learned a lot of new skills and made great memories. It was my first time with my new board and I started off a little wobbly but by the time I left I had really improved. The facilities are nice and the lifts are efficient. The are plenty of places to eat nearby. I will definitely be going back many times.

I loved my many trips to winterplace. The facilities here are great and very well maintained. I love the variety of skill level terrain as well as ski patrol presence across the resort, make sure to thank them! A great tip would be to get food there, it is a tad bit pricey but its delicious and saves you time. Another tip would be to carry and gaiter or gloves in ur pocket even if it doesnt feel cold at the base, that West Virginia wind will get you at the higher terrain.
