Love going here. You do have Vermont weather to deal with, but we had 3 great spring days. Does get crazy busy on holidays.

Beautiful resort but very expensive and crowded on the weekends. Great Condos for rent with a host of amenities

grooming has dropped off from previous years but still a nice place to ski. Midweek is much better.

Expensive, crowded mountain that gets a lot of customers driving in from New York City in Boston. Lift lines are long on weekends and can be on weekdays as well as they will often reduce the number of lifts and operation. Food and beverage options are minimal, pricey, and quite frankly not very good. On a positive note, there is a well maintained moguls run that is used for competitions.

Stratton Mountain provides an excellent skiing experience for all types of skiers and families. Stratton has a good variety of trails and terrain. The only thing they lack is really steep slopes. There is a wide variety of housing options as well as a nice ski village with a few different restaurants. There is also xc skiing and ice skating. Stratton is a short drive from Boston, Albany, Burlington, or West Lebanon airports, and many bus options exist. Snow has been very reliable and the lift lines are usually quite short, with the exception of late mornings on the weekends.

Good sized mountain. Lines can get really big. It is close enough to get the people out of the (city New York and Boston) which makes for big weekend crowds

I think Stratton is a great resort if youre on ikon and live on the east. It pales in comparison to west coast skiing but this and killingtons are the gems of the northeast. Try to time your trip with a snow storm - there can be good pockets of snow.

I have been going to Stratton for over 30 years and can confidently say it is one of the best resorts on the east coast! The terrain is varied so there is something for everyone - a dedicated learning area, difficult trails, plenty of glades, and terrain parks with a number of different features. I spent a season teaching for the ski school and had one of the best seasons ever! The staff is friendly, efficient, and some folks have been there for years, which adds to the community and family feel of the hill. The après scene is top notch with plenty of bars and restaurants right at the bottom of the hill; not many mountains on the east coast are true resorts in that you really dont need to leave the immediate area and Stratton delivers on all fronts. I look forward to another 30+ years!

I have been riding here all my life it is a great resort. The skiing in the east has gotten worse with time because of weather but we gotta take what we can get. They blast a lot of snow and it is a really fun mountain and a good size.

Skiing stratton gives you access to not just the mountain itself, but the employees who are always willing to help and the town with great dining options and other things to do. They have a climbing wall and other attractions which make it a full day activity thats worth the trip.

I had a great time skiing with my friends. The lifts were fast and lines moved quickly. It was icy in a few different spots but only on one part of the mountain. It was very accessible and great staff interactions. Would highly recommend!

Stratton Mountain resort is a great resort! This is where I learned to ski. The runs are awesome with different levels based on your experience. The whole atmosphere of Stratton is very magical and also kid friendly. The village around the resort has great places to stay and delicious restaurants to choose from. In the summer there are always really cool events or outdoor concerts. Can be a little pricey but overall a great place!

Fun ski mountain on the east coast. Variety of trails. Does get packed on Saturdays and Sundays , less lines on weekdays. The village has a lot of cool stores/shops/restaurants/bars. Some spots to check out Grizzlys at the bottom of the main base area. Green Door Pub. Its like a basement bar. has bucket wings and cool bartenders. Bar 802 is dog friendly inside.

I grew up skiing Stratton. Their ski school is top notch and where my whole family learned to ski. They are on the Ikon pass and the mountain can get super busy on weekends. The village at the base feels a bit commercialized and unauthentic. Expert skiiers might get bored on this mountain UNLESS they like skiing glades/trees. On the map the left most run goes along the ski boundary and has the best glades i have ever skid. Terrain parks are average. I think this is the perfect resort for families who are new to skiing. Killington offers everything for a family vacation but it is expensive. Overall its worth a visit but if you are an expert you might consider making the extra 1-2 hour drive to some of the mountains in northern vermont / canada

Stratton is a great mountain for what it is and where it is. For vermonts best southern mountain it is well worth it. The gondola can be slow but i recommend lapping the URSA express up to the top peak. stratton is definitely a fast mountain and would most likely avoid saturdays due to high crowd volume. Nether the less stratton is a great mountain for all skiiers and boarders
