What Skiers Say About Killington Resort

Killington attracts predominantly intermediate to expert skiers and snowboarders, with many reviewers noting it as one of the largest and best resorts on the East Coast. The most consistent praise centres on terrain variety, excellent snowmaking, long season duration, and well-maintained groomers. Multiple users highlight the resort's size and ability to spread crowds across seven peaks, though weekends and holidays see significant congestion and lift queues. Reviewers frequently mention steep terrain even on beginner runs, making it less suitable for true novices. Common complaints include high prices for food, lift tickets, and lodging, alongside recurring lift breakdowns and excessive snowmobile traffic damaging trail conditions.

Killington mountain is an excellent option for anyone on the east coast it is accessible within a few hours of many major cities and it has some of the best east coast terrain I've ever skiied on it also has really good terrain parks especially the peace park which is well maintained and has a lot of features. It has multiple lodges to eat at and although the food is expensive it is pretty average as far as soon resorts go. 5/5

Ive skied at killington resort for 13 years and ive loved every day of it. killington resort has the most diversity of different levels of skiing ive seen out of any mountain in vermont USA. this mountain has very good terrain parks set up with different types of rails and jumps to satisfy the skier or rider. Killington resort is very good at pleasing its customers with its apres skiing also. the food at the resort is very well made and the different customer services like bag storage and help from many kind employees makes this resort very easy to navigate and enjoy while you spend time there.

Killington has something for everyone, however most of the runs are very steep and if you find your way to the peak theres only a handful of green and blues you can take back to the bottom. That being said there is an area that is mostly green and blues so everyone can enjoy Killington. The parks are insane, the tree skiing is insane, the views are insane and the double diamonds are alsoinsane! They have a bubble chair and a couple gondolas, most of their lifts are high speed detachables, their food is great and the staff is friendly and helpful!

Killington is so fun with great groomers, tree runs and powder days if youre lucky! The town itself is amazing with great food and fun things to do! Its a huge mountain so its not usually crowded on the slopes but lift lines can get long especially around the holidays.

Go during the week since it can get very busy during the weekend, also when busy look for other lifts that go to not as well known trails
