Sundance Review Summary
Sundance attracts a mix of beginners, intermediates, and advanced skiers, with many reviewers having longstanding connections to the resort. The most consistent praise centres on shorter lift queues, a relaxed local atmosphere, and proximity to Utah County. Multiple users note the resort's smaller size and lower elevation compared to other Utah resorts, which affects snow quality and accumulation. Pricing is frequently mentioned as high relative to the size and offerings, though many appreciate the family-friendly environment and quality food at the lodge. Advanced riders highlight terrain in the back mountain and Bishop's Bowl, while beginners find the learning area accessible but some note the step up to blue runs can be steep.

be late start early end due to lower elevation and not as good of snow (for utah) and some more pros would be its a very friendly area and community and the food is amazing with several options to choose from i would totally recommend it for all types of skiers or boarders and it has decently priced passes and lift tickets but that might change since there will be terrain expansion which is gonna make this one of the best resorts ever hopefully 8.5/10
There is plenty of groomed blues, more difficult blacks and exciting lines to find under the lifts and through the trees.
Front mountain is for the beginners and should stay there as there is enough for them to ride, but intermediate to expert will enjoy the back. The lifts are fairly slow compared to other large resorts, but not waiting in lines makes up for it.
Parking is pretty simple and you can park within 100 yards of Jakes lift to start your day.
