I am a local adaptive sit skier. I have had to fight Brian Head constantly for anything resembling equal treatment for the last 3 seasons. Accommodation and training for adaptive skiers is sorely lacking even though I offer multiple times every year to various departments. I think this creates an unsafe environment for me. Any visiting adaptive skiers, and keeps Brian Head behind the times as adaptive skiing is the largest adaptive sport and has been around as long as snowboarding.

I was a ski instructor for 3 Seasons, and now am a competitive park skier working for park crew, over this season weve had lots more ice than pow, definitely upgraded when pro park builders from Brighton came and made us a decent terrain park. So far Im really hoping for more snow to cover up the rocks and bushes in the tree runs, and to make off piste more enjoyable in general. Would definitely recommend for new learners and intermediate rippers, but I could definitely see seasoned advanced riders not having enough terrain or challenge without the risk of hurting your equipment through trees or other parts of the resort.

Brian Head is a great resort without huge crowds and long lines. Been going there for a few years now and recently switched to the ikon pass to try out some other resorts. Pleased to say I'll be going back to Brian Head next year. These other big resorts are too crowded. Brian Head may be on the smaller side, but still plenty of fun to be had!

They advertise $29 lift tickets but you have to by those months in advanced. Day of lift tickets can be up to $100. Pricey for what you get. No up hill travel policy. Theres definitely some fun terrain and unbeatable views of red rocks around.

I would reccomend brianhead for any locals near southern utah or coming from Las Vegas. But for other experienced skiers, i would not reccomend this resort. There is no back mountain terrain, and its very beginner friendly. There is a lot of better resorts in northern utah for experienced riders; and the price is pretty comparable.
