I started skiing there back in 1968. Still a local avid skier. You had the rope tow then and just the main slope was there. I would night ski up until 11:00 PM and I remember you used to close the slope for 1 hour to regroom for night skiing. I think it was 5 to 6 PM. You used to have music on speakers, mounted on the lift poles. The snack bar was outside then and one would order thru a window. You had a ski instructor named Gunther who was obnoxious and loud, when he taught on the slops. Did huge "S" turns down the mountain and had alcohol on his breath whenever I passed by him. I have a lot of memories there and I continue to ski there when I'm "on call" and I have to stay nearby to service an apartment complex. SORRY,,,, but I need to go to the Pocono's when not "on call" to get to the "black diamonds" for the rush. BUT I always not stray to too far from you guys. I'll start with the "cons" of the place: 1) Miss the live music, but no big deal as I use a speaker and everyone has their own music going nowadays. 2) "On the original ski slope", your light coverage is a little poor in the middle of the wide part of the ski area. But the big complaint would be: 3) You guys really need a new "faster chair lift"! You've heard it before, I'm sure. I liked it when you extended the leg part out more because the underneath of my leg used to hurt at the end of the day. The seat was too short, so good job there. "Pros" : Great snow making, everyone is soo nice, the female staff is hot. Most of all, the pizza is to die for! The best pizza I have ever tasted!!! Give that guy a raise. He's there every day too, that I've been there! Hope this has been helpful and if you guys never do any of this, I'm devoted to you and have broken some bones, trying stuff there. But that's my own doing. Hey, I also remember you guys had a raffle on a car "70's". I think it was a Chevy Vega, or maybe a Ford Pinto! Love you guys.
