Liberty is a pretty family friendly resort in terms of slopes. Pretty much the entire front side is for beginners or newish to the sport. There are three chairs on the front side. The first is a lean how to use lift, the second is easy green runs only and the third take you to the top of the mountain which allows you to go to the back side of the mountain with blue and black terrain. The lifts do seem to be very slow and stop often making the ride much worse on cold days. All lift attendants were very friendly. Lifts are a good distance from parking so the walk is a bit tiring when carrying all your equipment.

Great place to learn to ski, the school is really good and the slopes are wide and forgiving. More advanced riders will likely find the lifts slow and the runs underwhelming. The trail design is more varied than the neighboring Whitetail and Roundtop, though, so its a good place to mix things up on the occasion.
