Reviews

Mt. Batchlor was awesome! We had bluebird days for the most part. One day wind gust up to 65 mph, and they closed lifts to the top. Beautiful scenery and great skiing! Avalanche control was out on the backside almost everyday. Huge areas to find fresh and groomers were awesome for that end of the day ride! No lodging at mountain you have to stay in and around Bend. Lodges were very big and very accommodating! Busy weekends but midweek you really own the place. Lifts were great! Lines moved quickly! We will go back!!!!

Mt B has 3 base areas, and only 2 have lodges. Weather can severely affect lift operations, and Summit barely opens if theres any wind or heavy snow. Great nordic area, great ski school, and awesome for families. Not very steep mountain and after a big snowstorm it can become too deep to ski. Being a volcano makes it very open to the elements, but very impressive view of the Cascades on a good day.
