I had a good experience at the resort, everything you need with easy access, I would strongly recommend either going with your partner, or family and friends.

Totally advise beginners to sign up for the ski lessons. Some of the diamond trails seem too dangerous for beginners.

Appalachian is a cool place during the week for college kids but unsafe on the weekends and holidays. It's a lot of beginners from Florida making a mess of the place. The lessons are great. The food is mediocre. No apres ski at all.
