Sunapee is a great learning mountain but not much off piste or mogul runs for advanced skiers. Very family friendly, lots of kids so you have to watch your speed even on blues and blacks. Almost entirely man made snow but they do a good job of making enough snow cover and a good number of runs are open. I went in late December so most blacks were closed but we still had a decent day of skiing.

My friends and I went on a weekday to Mount Sunapee. There was never a line to get on the lift. The employees were extremely friendly and they also had an awesome terrain park setup. It seems like this mountain is often overlooked due to Stowe and Okemo, but it may have been my favorite. We got a ton of runs in and had a great time. I would recommend checking it out if possible.
