I went to Afton Alps expecting a decent day of skiing, but honestly it felt overpriced and pretty disappointing. The runs are short and repetitive, and by midday the snow was icy and chewed up, which made it less fun than I’d hoped. I spent way too much time standing in lift lines, especially considering how little terrain was actually open, and it didn’t feel like I was getting my money’s worth. The food and drinks were expensive for what you get, and the whole place felt crowded and a bit disorganized. It’s convenient if you’re nearby, but after going once, I wouldn’t rush back when there are better options

When we visited, the conditions were perfect- lifts extremely easy to use and great accommodation especially for accessing the slopes. Lots of great food and drink options to explore nearby.

Just carv, have fun and follow the rules, the lifts and hills are great, lots of ice though. But stick to what you know and you'll be safe

Had a really enjoyable time skiing, we went the week before schools break up for half term so slopes were reasonably quieter which is so much more enjoyable as you don’t have to concentrate on not hitting others. Instead can focus on technique.
Chair lifts were a little busy with the first one up but after that it was all good. Especially when we were always first up and on the slopes. Snow was good last year, we can had a little bit before we arrived and some on the last day, but very other day it was clear skies which was perfect for visibility. Amenities were okay, we had the basic requirements walking distance from us, we weren’t fancy with going out so happily cooked our own breakfast and dinners.

Would recommend.
