I absolutely LOVE Sun Valley! One of the best ski resorts I have ever been to! That being said, this is no beginner mountain. The terrain is steep and can become slick really quick. Their greens feel more like blues, their blues feel more like blacks, but their blacks truly feel like hard blacks. The ONE problem I have with the resort is the pricing. Oh my goodness, a single day is $200! While I do think that it CAN be worth it if you are skiing non-stop, if you are any sort of beginner or beginner-intermediate I would hesitate to spend that much on a day pass here. If youre able to ski 20+ miles a day, I truly believe that this resort is worth the money. Again, I think it all comes down to your skill level and whether or not youre willing to shell out that cash. For me, Im more than willing to do so!

Sun Valley, where do I even begin? From the jaw dropping views at the top to the beautifully crafted lodges scattered all around the mountain, its safe to say that Sun Valley has it all. From the moment you enter the village at the base you know that you have entered somewhere amazing. Sun Valley has been at the top of resort rankings forever and its for a good reason. Not only does Sun Valley have elite level grooming but also has some of the best off piste runs to have an exhilarating adventure with your buddies. You will never get bored here, with over 2,400 acres of diverse terrain and a 3,400 vertical drop there is always a new adventure to have any where you go. Exhausted from all the shredding you did? Take a break in one of Sun Valleys gorgeous lodges and enjoy some of the best food youve ever had. From spectacular French Onion soup to freshly baked cookies Sun Valley has all the food you need to get back out and rip the slopes all at a gourmet level. I give Sun Valley a 10/10 because of how much fun I have everyday I am skiing up there. I have lived here for a decade and still have more terrain to discover on the mountain. So if you want to visit a small ski town but also want a luxury skiing experience, Sun Valley is the place!
