2 gondolas move skiers/boarders up the mountain swiftly. Several different peaks to ski from. Most have a choice of blue and black so groups can split up and meet at the lift. Good food on the mountain but seating is crowded during peak lunch time. Base has good apres-ski and bus service to downtown is excellent!!

The boat, its legendary for a reason. Off the beaten path and away from the I70 craziness, Steamboat is a hidden gem. Some of the best skiing/boarding in Colorado. Theres even a taco truck on a snowcat, how can you beat that?!

My favourite USA resort. Its conditions are always amazing there. I love the restaurant selection as well. I cant wait to go back.

Steamboat was a fantastic resort for anyone who is chasing powder. The off-piste riding was phenomenal, I'd definitely return.

Had an amazing experience with my family. Very kid and family friendly with an awesome base and downtown area.

Steamboat is extremely beginner friendly if youre new to skiing. It offers a wide variety of terrain whether youre new to skiing or an expert. There is a general sense of acceptance here that I dont think you can find anywhere else. One of my favorite resorts.

steamboat is a great family mtn. there are some steeps in & out of bounds, long fun cruisers, and of course, our champaigne powder! i moved there in the early '90's, obviously things change but 'you just gotta poke around' and youll find ian incredible local community. its less of a ranching town these days but if you drive out of town 5min anyway you find ranchers!

The mountain is huge, the main gondola took 15min to the top(might be a slight exaggeration). the runs were open and had great views and they always had a way to transfer from one run to another. Only complaint was i wish there were more maps so i didnt have to ski-walk 100ft.

Lots of acreage, great trees, high snowfall totals. Fun mountain and town, lots to do, lots of amenities and friendly people.
Downsides are long lift lines and no extreme terrain, if you're into that sort of thing. More of a family friendly resort.

Steamboat is absolutely beautiful. There is no waiting to get on lifts. The terrain is fantastic with pockets of fresh powder even at the end of the day. Lots of accomodation and free buses to help you get around. Make sure you go downtown to experience the wonderful atmosphere. Strawberry Hot Springs are magical.
