I had a great time here with my friends. My girlfriend is new to skiing and there were plenty of easy enough runs for her to feel comfortable on. The bars and restaurants in the village were great and the lodges around the mountain are perfect to take a quick break and possibly grab some food or a drink. Will definitely be visiting again.

I think overall this a really fun and family friendly resort. Its got a bit of everything to keep all people happy. Great vibes, good snow.
The only thing I think could be better would be signage. Sometimes things could definitely be marked a bit clearer.
Id be happy to go again

Steamboat is a great resort that receives a lot of annual snowfall. Although it might get a little crowded at times, there is still so much to offer every skill level. You can find good snow almost anywhere on the mountain. With short hike-to-terrain and exceptional glade skiing, you can find challenging and fun trails all over the mountain. If you are looking for something a little easier, the groomed trails are very well maintained. There are dining options for the family all over the mountain and the food is excellent, but still pricey. Overall steamboat is a perfect mountain to bring the whole family, or to find great snow!

Location is amazing and riding is par none. Great facilities and wonderful staff. Tree runs had variety of steep and more manageable less steep terrain. Mountain contained proper skill sets for all riders and even my wife had a blast! Local amenities are also too notch. Will definitely be back

The resort is amazing. They just added another 1000 acres or so which really spreads the people out, shortening lift lines and keeping the beginners on one part of the mountain. The employees of the mountain are always great and the community is just amazing. There are many shuttles and busses that can pick you up almost anywhere in town and take you directly to the base. There is also a gondola going from a huge free parking lot straight to the base of the mountain. Overall the resort is great.

in general, Steamboat is a great resort. Their biggest downfall comes with their staff that monitor and help skiers onto their lifts. Over half the time they are just blasting music having a party at the base of the lift, rather than paying attention to the skiers, and preventing the lift from having to be perpetually stopped for riders who either fall or go to early, or just arent paying attention themselves. And the lifties reaction time is also slow. I saw one take their time when helping a skier, take his skis off after he had fallen for moving forward too early, and then they helped him get his skis back on while staying in the way of the lift before moving him out of the way. It took 15 minutes to get the lift going again.
It makes the efficiency of avoiding lift lines and getting people to the top painstakingly bad.

Steamboat is my all time favorite place to ski in Colorado, perfect for weekend trips, the snow is always amazing the trees are gorgeous! If you have the chance to hike up Christmas tree bowl you dont want to miss it, the best runs in there! And then Apres at Tbar after is a must, the best vibes all around
