5 peaks! High Alpine is divine! Great Hike-to terrain options. Colorado Summit county is a great location to try a bit of everything.

I love both skiing and snowboarding, but a huge part of my experience is the mountain. I have been to almost every mountain in Colorado and have found Breckenridge to be my favorite. Everything is top tier. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

One of my favorite mountains! Great for beginners/intermediates- lots of variety of greens and blues. Slopes are always well taken care of and pretty good food and bar options.

I truly had a great time in Breckenridge and loved it so much that I am back again this year! The slopes were the perfect length and were very fun and exciting to ski on. The nightlife and restaurants were both superb and my friends and I had an amazing time.

If only it wasn't so expensive to ski in the USA then I'd be there every year!
Fab town with character. Outstanding slopes, beautiful scenery, dog sleding, snow mobiles and a casino down the mountain towards Denver were worth the trip out of resort. Accommodation choice great. Restaurants great. Excellent overall just not a fan of the cost.

I have lived in this shit hole for decades and just continue to watch it get swarmed by zombies and people that make you wonder how they came about enough funding to end up here!

Breckenridge is a big resort and does get busy. But it has a great lift system and there are multiple peaks that allow you to go where the crowds arent. Great variety of terrain for all levels. Also has a superb ski school and there is also a place called Kinderhut that is a day care that has its own magic carpet to get kids going! I see mixed reviews of it online but we were very happy with them and it gets the kids outside.

Breck itself is a cute town with lots of food and apres-ski options, and at all price points from very expensive to snack level.

Remember Breck is high and so altitude sickness is a concern, even in the village.

I visited Breckenridge the weekend of 21-23 November.
The snow drought in western US is well known this year, and despite being open for 2 weeks already, there were only 3 lifts and 3 pistes open.
There was not enough snow to venture off piste, the only snow was man made and the mountains were bare.
Despite this the lift pass was full cost at a whopping $128 USD per day.
I had a pleasant day skiing, the people were friendly, the après was lively & fun, the potential skiing looked great, but overall the experience was a disappointment.
There seemed to be plenty of other slopes equipped with snow cannons, but no snow cover. If the resort is going to ask punters to pay full whack for a pass, they could make more effort in opening up more terrain.
Clearly I visited very early in the season and should not have expected a fully open resort, but nevertheless ...
Luckily I was in Colorado on a business trip and hadn't just gone for the skiing.

This is where I’ve essentially taught myself to ski, because I’m too poor to pay for classes. The mountain is SUPER beginner and family friendly, at the cost of some loud/ hectic slopes. You can easily escape that most days, though. Staff is kind and helpful. Prices are astronomical, but that’s everywhere in the US… thanks Vail.

This is my go-to resort. Free transit, reasonable lift tickets (better is multiples are purchased) or EPIC Pass experience it awesome (tracking daily vertical fun for slope buddies). Can also access 4 other resorts close by. The town of Breckenridge is so awesome great restaurants, all reasonably prices, same for shopping and gear. Great for every skier/boarder skill level! Easy transit from Airport if you are not renting vehicle. Great easy well run Airport as well.

Breckenridge is always a go to for our family, plenty of terrain for the whole group and a good mix of stuff for both kids and adults to do. Love the authentic feel of the town and the welcoming helpfulness of everyone.

Breck is a great stop on the Epic pass with plenty of areas to hop around to avoid crowds and try new runs. It’s amazing when there’s powder.

Brec is the place to go in the US. Fantastic high terrain skiing. Plenty of vert. Lift lines are not too bad. Can be a bit crowded during peak holidays, but even then, it's not so bad. If you are an advanced skier/rider, you can always find less crowded lift lines as long as you stay away from the lower runs.

The Brec town is walking distance to from the ski area so you are never far from either area. Night life is great as is the food.

You also have close access to Keystone, Copper and Arapahoe ski areas and about 45 minute drive to Vail. Brec, Keystone and Vail are on the Epic pass so you can ski all 3.
