Brec is the place to go in the US. Fantastic high terrain skiing. Plenty of vert. Lift lines are not too bad. Can be a bit crowded during peak holidays, but even then, it's not so bad. If you are an advanced skier/rider, you can always find less crowded lift lines as long as you stay away from the lower runs.
The Brec town is walking distance to from the ski area so you are never far from either area. Night life is great as is the food.
You also have close access to Keystone, Copper and Arapahoe ski areas and about 45 minute drive to Vail. Brec, Keystone and Vail are on the Epic pass so you can ski all 3.

This was my first skiing experience. I took lessons here that have helped me everywhere I go! Everyone is so nice and helpful. Anytime I fell, I had people checking in on me. I recommend coming here if you are a newbie and want a safe place to get better!

Love Breck. Well maintained slopes and infrastructure and great town for post ski socials (plenty of happy hours!) Great food scene as well with loads of options. Great for late season skiing as well, although size of skiable area is reduced after mid april, and the gondala up from Town to Peak 7/8 shutsdown, as the thaw starts to set in.

An epic resort favorite. Large resort with often great snow and terrain. Skied here with my son and we loved it.

Brec is my go-to mountain in Summit County. With the highest lift in North America, they have some of the best steep and deep runs around.
As a Level 1 Certified ski instructor there I can attest they have a fantastic ski school that caters to all ski and snow board abilities.
Downtown Brec is great for apre ski and also has fantastic night life.

We love this resort, 1 hour 40 minutes from Denver, ski in and out with great ski and snowboard lessons available. Our daughter uses the adaptive ski program with is very affordable and professional. Its the only place to ski in Colorado.

The best! Big resort creature comforts with local town vibes! Terrain is filled with amazing and fast groomers. Hike-to terrain has the best bowls in Colorado, always fresh powder to find.
