Early season, not a whole lot of lifts or trails open... But overall good value for a "small" Mom and Pop operation, much quieter than the Vail resorts a bit further north. Great for a day trip. Haven't stayed overnight, accommodations look very dated. Lessons were good quality, both my wife and I ended up getting private lessons since no one else showed up in our skill level for the group lessons. Not a whole lot of dining options, better at the shack halfway up the mountain than at the lodge at the base.

China peak is a cool deal for locals being so close to Fresno, one of the cheaper resorts in CA but still relatively overpriced given what it is. Ski patrol employees here are spectacular, lifties can be kind of a pain sometimes w their attitude but its whatever. Decent ski area for people native to Fresno but I wouldnt say its really a ski destination for a far traveler.

China Peak is friendly to beginners as well as offering some of the most insane powder and high level riding. The views are insane and I like that they even offer jumps/ park style riding aside from crazy black diamond steep slopes for those who ride at the speed of light!

This resort is fun and not too far from where i live in the central valley. Powder is fun their and the best run is kaiser.

Ski china peak is a great resort mostly for its location, 2-3 hours from most Central Valley cities like Fresno. The lift lines are usually nonexistent and skiing into the chair is common. Terrain park has some rails, but large jumps dont usually show up until late season. Lift tickets are expensive for the size of the mountain but its easy to memorize and adequate for skiers of all levels except possibly off piste tree skiers.

Love skiing at China Peak ! Its got a lot of great terrain and a great vibe. Its good for families, first timers, and experienced skiers/riders. People are very friendly. Lift lines are short. The powder is usually really good right after a storm. They have an awesome grooming team that keeps the runs nice and fresh.

Local quiet full service resort with new owners really improving the resort. China Peak is a central California resort and perfect if you want a much smaller crowd and great skiing
