I loved Schilthorn. Had the rotating restaurant at the top and the views on the day I visited were amazing. Foolishly I left half my coat at the top because I wanted to be James Bond skiing down and subsequently left my lift pass at the top in half of my jacket. The people running the lifts were not sympathetic but thankfully my mates after laughing really hard were kind enough to get the lift back to the top to get my jacket. All said an epic experience one I would love to do again.

Beautiful resort with interesting and varied runs. Lots to explore and picturesque village stop offs that are great to enjoy a cold beer or warm coffee to fuel you. The James Bond museum I'd worth a visit and nice if for am easier day of skiing.

Love this quiet, relaxing resort. The most perfect views and space to glide around it and to forget that the rest of the world exists. Car free and so Swiss, no real hustle ad bustle but enough of all the essentials for me. Will always return here and especially now to see the new cable cars, trains and gondolas.

Murren is world famous for the James Bond movie that used the Shilthorn - Piz Gloria lift station as the base for the main villian. I have stayed twice at the Hotel Eiger in Mürren, and found it to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. Very friendly efficient staff - especially the restaurant manager, great food, nice rooms. Have not stayed there since March 2020, because of the doubling of the cost, probably due to the £ to CHF currency rate, or the loss of money due to Covid. Skiing is extensive and the area is linked to Wengen. I really dislike pitzas, but there is a piste-side restaurant just down from the Murren train station that does these fantastic very thin crisp-like bases. Still hate pizas but not theirs. My only issue is that the link between the rail station, which mainly serves one side of the resort; and the cable car station, which mainly serves the other side of the resort, is by foot, so can be tedious, long and boring.

Murren is unique and full of charm. It is a car traffic free village high up in the Swiss Alps that is a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It is not crowded, andthere is a great mix of slopes for different abilities. The revolving mountain top restaurant out of the James Bond film is spectacular. Good skiers can ski down from its exit. There is a great leisure centre in the small village with a good swimming pool. It is unlike any other ski resort.

I enjoy skiing in Murren. It is not a party village / resort but a lovely, quaint and car free, and a spectacular spot in the mountains. The views are incredible. The skiing is great and never too busy. It's at a decent altitude so the snow is reasonably reliable. It has a lovely sorts centre with great facilities and several excellent ski shops. There is also easy access to Wengen across the valley.

Having skied in Mürren every year since 1998, a lot has changed The resort has so much to offer, it is the ski resort get away!! A village high up on the mountain side, stunning views, no hustle and bustle, no cars, the odd cow.. Fantastic resort for beginners to those who wish to race in the world famous inferno down hill. There are several fun parks for the snowboarders & free skiers, unbelievable ski touring routes that will take your breath away Dotted all over the resort are little huts to warm your feet, have a coffee & home made cake Enjoy a late night fondue in the soupenalp & then come down the toboggan run in the moon light!! (Have a head torch handy ). After a days activity relax with a swim or hop in the spa at the sports centre Mürren is the place to go!!

Absolutely fabulous time, Do the black from piz Gloria and utilise the powder of the slopes it was fab. Make sure if capable you do the lauberhorn World Cup black and get the free start photo from wengen. Start bar at the top of lauberhorn is fab along with the Kline restaurant in wengen, and we stayed at the hotel Eiger which was fab with a brilliant location highly recommend

Very beautiful are to ski. Fantastic history. Good range of runs for intermediate and expert. Okay for beginners but your not going to find lots of gentle motorway runs, fantastic off piste. Plenty of fun to be had,
