Chocolate box village, great for families and those looking for a quiwter resort. Fantastic skiing as forms part of the Portes du Soleil with over 600kms of piste. Impossible to get bored and suitable for all levels.

Morgins is a family friendly resort on the edge of the Porte Du Soleil. Most of the accommodation is in the form of self catering apartments but there are eating out options and the resort is well served in terms of small supermarkets, bars and restaurants.
A significant selling point is ease of access to the rest of the Porte Du Soleil ski area with Chatel a short car ride over the border to France or easy ski access from Morgins itself. The village is well served with two excellent ski school in ESS and MS3 and the resort itself is a perfect starting point for beginners, those with young families, looking to get their ski legs back, or those who aren’t too bothered about glitz, glam and crowds.

We have been visiting Morgins for about 30 years. It is a beautiful village and we love that you can ski to the busier resorts Of the Portes du Soleil if you want to. Fabulous atmosphere for families.

A small friendly Swiss village with terrific access to the Portes de Soleil.
Ideal for families that want to avoid the overcrowding of some more high profile places.

Great self catering options. Good bus service between resorts. Port du soleil is a huge resort so lots of skiing with plenty of on slope places to eat and drink.
