The Skiers' Guide to Aletsch Arena

Amazing views views of glacier. Good lift network. If there is recent snow, lots of easily accessible off piste. Not a huge area, but plenty to keep you busy for a few days.

If you're looking for a solid ski resort, this is definitely worth checking out. The slopes are well-maintained, with a good mix of runs for all level of skiers . The lifts are great so youre not wasting half your day in queues, and the views from the top are absolutely stunning. Perfect for a ski weekend away!

Riederalp - Bettmeralp are two great local resorts in Switzerland! The skiing is superb, the views of the mountains/valley and glacier are amazing and the lines are never very long. Highly recommend checking it out if youre in the area!

Beautiful quite wide, long runs. Really great skiing. Nice aprés and impeccable vibes. Cant wait to return!

While the views are absolutely breathtaking and the on mountain village quite a sight to see, I would say the runs are not really snowboard friendly. A lot of cat track type runs with flats and uphills. I had to unstrap multiple times even after bombing the downhill before. Nothing outright challenging in terms of runs either. But the views are top notch.

A wonderful little-known area next to the mighty Aletsch glacier- 3 car free resorts joined together and always in sunshine as no shady bits.

The Swiss are consummate hosts and everything runs like clockwork.

For families is great. Secluded and great snow while there. The options for off piste limited but the piste was lovely
