The Skiers' Guide to Voss Resort

VOSS, was amazing, family ski trip with an 8 and 10 year old, it was just perfect, the Norwegians are 5 star at everything they do. VOSS is beautiful, quiet and fun.

They haven't had any recent snowfall but the snow that the resort had was very well looked after and the night skiing was excellent at no extra cost, two nights a week.

There was an advanced snow park and a really nice beginner Park.

The views from the top by the gondola were extremely pretty.

I wouldn't recommend eating at the restaurant as unfortunately it was very disappointing.

Eating out there are loads of places but certainly enough as well as several supermarkets.

there's an Italian, Chinese, steakhouse and a few smaller café type places as well as a kebab shop.

depending on who you travel with it is possible to get a free bus to a neighbouring resort without needing a different lift pass though friends who went venture there didn't enjoy the other resort as much.

Like a lot of Ski resorts, it does get quite busy at the weekends but the rest of the week there were hardly any queues for the lifts.

Slopes very quiet the first week in January so lots of space to play. Loads of time and space for the kids to learn and improve. Good variety of slopes and very family friendly. Ski hire cheap with very good quality equipment. Food and drinks in mountain restaurants similar price to the UK and really good. Service excellent though it was quiet.

Nice little resort, maybe not for good intermediate and advanced, fly into Oslo and take the Oslo -Bergen train… exceptional scenery!!!

Great resort with excellent access to varied ski slopes and stunning mountain scenery. The runs are well maintained and suitable for different ability levels, making it a pleasure to ski here. However, visitors should be prepared for the fact that restaurants and evening dining options tend to close quite early, which can be a downside after a full day on the slopes.
