This is my second snowboard holiday. First one was in Solden which was great but Hafjell in Norway went on another level. Snow conditions were great! No slushy mogully hills by midday. It was soft and powdery. Only small issue was the weather at -20C, not all lifts were open at 9am. They did managed to open it midday. The park was also well prepared so even coming back at 2pm it was still in great condition. A small resort compared to Solden but those tree runs were the highlight of my trip!

Really good location, caught the train from Oslo which I would 100% recommend very scenic journey.
Very nice ski runs, everything is efficient regarding ski hire, no language issues, food on the slopes is very reasonable, also a really nice pub at the bottom of the slopes!
Slopes nicely groomed, didn’t have the best weather was powdery in some places but not everywhere, really lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for you!

Lovely place to start skiing. Not a massive ski area but enough for a beginner. Après ski definitely doesn’t exist but considering the cost of a beer that’s probably a good thing.

First experience snowboarding, great facilities and plenty to do for all levels. Heading out again in Feb so hoping to take better advantage of the slopes now I’m a bit more confident
