Kronplatz is a great family friendly resort with many long runs. All the lifts are modern - which makes the long ascends quick & comfortable, and leaves plenty of time for the exceptionally long slopes on the way down. The slopes are extremely well maintained and lots of options from beginners to advanced. However, there are few off-piste options. Some of my favorite hotels in the world are near the resort - lots of great options as low as <EUR 100 p.p./night including half board. Apre Ski is good, but generally I would class this more as a family friendly resort, and less party vibe in the ski towns. From Kronplatz, it's also a short bus right over to the Sella Ronda, opening a wealth of additional slopes. It's a great challenge for a day to ski Kronplatz, do Sella Ronda, and then return to Kronplatz on time before lifts close. I failed last time after getting seduced by an amazing Pizza at a slope-side restaurant. Good thing there's busses back :)

Kronplatz is well known for its perfectly groomed slopes, which are among the longest and widest in Italy. Super modern cable cars, some even with heated seats and wifi enable you to get back at the peak almost never having to queue

I learned to ski in this resort almost 25 years ago and we've come back to it so many times since I've grown up! It's just like home with a great atmosphere, great slopes, and great snow!

Stunning resort with an abundance of variety and huge slopes! Blues are extremely enjoyable, very beginner friendly with more difficult blacks to mix it up if you feel like it. Stunning home runs, amazing restaurants! Huge access to other mountains going to paradise. One of my favourite resorts! Cant recommend enough

Wonderful place, friendly people and beautiful runs. We had an amazing week and can't wait to come back.

Disappointed with the apres ski as picked this resort specially as we thought it had more apres ski than others. Given the resort is close to Austria, there is a stronger Austrian influence than other Italian resorts.

Plenty of runs and also part of Dolomite super ski pass so many other resorts are part of it however the travel times can be quite long which obviously takes up ski time. Run such as plateau which are the big open ones can get very busy and very choppy during the day but further you go down the mountain the more separated and quieter to the runs get. The park is only sporting a few jumps and there is only one park run on the mountain.

We , my wife and two friends have been to Kronplatz twice, fantastic resort well maintained and groomed, it's not a party town but there a plenty of bars and late bars to keep Apreis alive..We stayed at the same hotel, The Majeri , absolutely brilliant food atmosphere, family run and good enough for The Swedish ski team...
