Lovely different resort nice town plenty of restaurants and bars. Slopes quiet and well groomed. Option to ski over to busier Madonna Di Campillio. Nice tree runs in Pinzolo and well kept especially for March. Lift system a bit antiquated. Needs more restaurants on the mountain for the whole area and they were very busy maybe caught a bank holiday. We stopped in the Bellavista bite bit out of Pinzolo excellent hotel with regular shutttle bus to slopes which was a god send as buses weren’t that available. Enjoyed a lovely week here in full sun all week how lucky we were. Suitable for boarders too.

We spent a week at Hotel Orso Grigio, which serves excellent food, has a family friendly atmosphere and a wellness centre with sauna, hot tub etc. Only downside is ski bus which only does 3 runs in the morning and 3 in the afternoon. It's a long walk to the lift in ski boots and carrying skis. Skiing in Pinzolo itself is fairly limited, but a ouple of runs takes you to the link lift to Madonna which has more variety of pistes. Both resorts have extensive snow making so even though there was little snowfall in the weeks preceding our visit, most pistes were open including the black run down to Pinzolo. There were a few queues at pinchpoints, but no more than 10 minutes and some pistes were uncomfortably crowded, but it was easy to find quieter blues and reds. I would not recommend this area for complete beginners unless with someone familiar with the slopes as some of the blues had short steep sections that could be a bit intimidating, but if you can handle a moderate red, then there is good variety and plenty of long scenic cruises.

Great for families. Very quiet. I took a group of 56 kids on a school trip. Ski school was average. But very quiet location, not a wild party place and perfect for a school trip full of beginners/intermediates for a week.

Pinzolo ski area is quiet but you can cancel car over to Madonna which is much bigger.

I would return if I could get a good deal but to be honest it’s a bit quiet for what I’d want.
