Been going to Speikboden for more than two decades, and will continue going. Great value for money and suitable for most as we go in a group at different levels of experience, age, and abilities.

Doesn’t get nearly as busy as the neighbouring Klausberg with ski students, so it’s possible to actually enjoy some speed and better quality runs.

Large parking so easy to come with your own car, but there’s also a that can take you to some of the neighbouring villages.

I learned skiing at Speikboden and it is honestly amazing for beginners. Even though it is quite small there are never any lines at the lifts and it is never too packed. The groomed runs are great, though one should have in mind that they are not too hard and not too steep either, since there are mostly green and some blue runs. Nevertheless, there are many really cute restaurants with great views and tasty food that is not too expensive. The Ski school is great for kids as well as adults, with kind and competent instructors.
Overall it is a great resort to spend some time in and learn or improve ones skiing/snowboarding performance, though for advanced athletes it is not really challenging and might get boring after a few days.
