We stayed in the beautiful town of Ortisei, Dolomites, and we skied the entire Val Gardena/Seiser Alm ski area. We have visited twice and we love the area. The ski runs are perfect for our level of skiing and there are many very pretty tree-lined runs. We are intermediate skiers, and retired, so the skiing in Alpe Di Suisi is perfect for us as there are mostly blue and red runs…and we were able to ski all of the mountain. We also skied the Sella Ronda and all of the other ski areas in Val Gardena. The week we were there this year saw a full week of lovely blue skies, and despite the fact that there wasn’t a lot of snow this year, I have to say the ski pistes were just perfect. The temperatures were very low so the snow wasn’t melting. The pistes were very well maintained and groomed. We are looking to return to the Dolomites again next year.

Fab resort for all experience levels, lots of great places to eat and drink. Plenty of choice of ski schools for kids, although not all provide provide English speaking instructors which was tricky for my 6 year old daughter.
