Abetone offers a balanced mix of groomed trails and powder skiing opportunities. Its terrain, rich in red and blue runs, is ideal for intermediate skiers. While not a primary destination for powder, fresh snowfall transforms the area into a delightful powder playground. The resort lacks extensive park facilities but compensates with beautiful groomed trails. Apres-ski in Abetone is lively, with numerous bars and restaurants serving Tuscan specialties. The town provides a quaint, welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the overall skiing experience.

Abetone is a really nice, quiet ski town with everything readily accessible. There’s shops, nice bars and lovely mid-mountain cafe stops. Their slopes are interesting, diverse and well organised and the off piste section are also equally engaging. The area made up for some of the best time on our school ski trip and I always look back on it fondly.
