Small resort within the Portes du Soleil area but not linked. Good skiing when snow conditions are good.

Lovely family friendly resort with a great ski school and efficient lifts. Remote from the resorts that try to create a winter Benidorm feel, everyone who works the bars here is friendly and gets to know you.

Such a great resort! Small but with a great ski area and a quick drive to the rest of the port de soilel! Great village atmosphere and the perfect way to spend a day skiing.

St Jean is a great family holiday secret, close to Morzine, les gets and Avoriaz, it offers quiet slopes to hone your skills and transport to the other resorts for more energetic evenings.
There is a scenic route around the mountain so none of this up and down the same slopes. Been going for over a decade ( as well as other places) still look forward to getting back.

Great resort with options for everyone, especially like skiing 'the circuit'. The station has different options for food, including pizzas, traditional alpine dishes and two bars which have a good atmosphere.

Skiing in saint jean daulps is very different from skiing the rest of PDS, the slopes are very quiet and the passes are much cheaper. If you go on a good day the runs can be incredible especially the loop however it can be boring if you are a more advanced skier as there arent that many slopes. I would highly reccomend here for beginner skiers however due to the quietness. I would say if you are skiing here and do not have a car your options will be limited as the bus is not particularly regular and this resort cannot connect to the rest of the PDS terrain without taking coming off the slope.

Part of the PDS but not connected this little gem of a resort is no where near as busy as its neighbours.
It has an older feel with reggae music blasting from the lift hut, super friendly lift staff and a great vibe.
Some great skiing on the frontside with really easily accessed side country and tree skiing. If you want to crush some miles you can head in a loop from the top around the mountain to the bottom.
I love this little gem of a resort, especially when its dumped. Youll be getting freshies when the PDS has been tracked out!

Magical resort in the Portes d Soliel, when the snow is perfect you're sure to have a wonderful day out, the tour around Bellvaux and onwards to Follys and through the woods is often called 'millionaires skiing'
You may cover twenty kilometres and only see a dozen people....a hidden jem....

Quite, picturesque resort, limited apres nightlife however small quiet restaurants and bars. Not a main busy resort but the resort is huge and can do a full circle run of 20km during the day.

Would definitely go back if you are wanting to ski/board without the queues.
