Montgenèvre Piste Map
Grab the Montgenèvre ski resort map to get your bearings before you hit the slopes - it's worth downloading so you can plan your runs and find your way around the mountain. The trail map covers 48 runs spread between 1860m and 2700m, including 9 beginner pistes, 13 intermediate runs, and 16 advanced trails, all serviced by 25 lifts. Montgenèvre also links into the Milky Way ski area, giving you access to even more terrain across the French-Italian border.

Montgenèvre's piste network offers something for everyone, and here's what you should be aiming for when you're up there:
-
Les Gondrans (Green): A wide, mellow cruiser running from the top of the gondola down to the village, ideal for finding your ski legs on day one.
-
Tremplin (Blue): A long, consistent run from the Chalvet sector that's perfect for intermediate skiers looking to build confidence with plenty of width and gentle flow.
-
Prarial (Blue): One of the most popular blues in the resort, offering brilliant carving terrain with sweeping turns and stunning views across the valley.
-
Rocher de l'Aigle (Blue): A scenic cruiser on the Italian border side that benefits from good snow coverage and tends to stay quiet when the main runs get busy.
-
Combe du Lac (Red): A challenging red with variable pitch and some properly steep sections that'll get your thighs burning if you attack it with commitment.
-
Chalvet (Red): The classic top-to-bottom red run that shows off Montgenèvre's best terrain, with open sections for carving and tree-lined lower portions when visibility drops.
-
Stade de Slalom (Red): A proper fall-line blaster that lives up to its name, offering consistent pitch and excellent snow retention thanks to its north-facing aspect.
-
Gondrans Stade (Black): The resort's signature steep run with a punchy top section that mellows out lower down, frequently used for racing but open to all when competitions aren't running.
-
Vallonnet (Black): A technical challenge through the trees with tight turns and variable terrain that rewards precise skiing and good line choice.
