Went with an all male group of mixed ages from early 20s to late 50s. Restaurants and bars gods ,lifts in the town , picturesque village/town. Fully recommend

Le grand bornand is a lovely quieter resort, with plenty of slopes to keep you entertained. I haven't attempted the black runs as not up to that standard but appeared to be plenty of black and off piste areas to discover. There are a few places to eat in the town but you are limited for apres ski.If you aren't after a wild time then look no further than le grand bornand! It's so pretty and peaceful.

I've been to Le Grand Bornand since learning how to ski and I cannot get over how much I love being there - I look forward to it all year round!!Their green and blue slopes are amazing for beginners and I even managed a nice red called La Tollard on my third day of riding - everyone is friendly with beginners and the hot drinks with a view at the end makes it even more worth the day :)

For my first time visiting, I had the best weekend! Great slopes and a great place to ski. I would recommend to anyone to check Le Grand-Bornand out!
The slopes were perfect for myself (someone who has only skied a few times) lots of different tracks with beautiful views and it was super easy to get around the resort. There was also lots of different off piste options for my boyfriend who is a much better skier. There was also lots of opportunities for us to ski together even though we are at different abilities.
I could not recommend this enough!

Lovely resort which is compact and family friendly. Chinnailon rPlenty of options for beginner and intermediate skiers, though less so for the experienced. But lots of off piste available. Ski area
Looks deceptively small, theres More to it. Mostly French clientele, very welcoming to everyone though!!

Great small resort that's easy to navigate around the central mountain. Slopes are usually quiet and there's a great board park to play in too.

This resort while not particularly high has everything the beginner up to advanced intermediate could want. Its not particularly well known by the English but French skiers come here which says a lot. The pistes are well looked after and are pretty quiet outside the usual holiday weeks. The lift pass is reasonably priced and you can also Ski La Clusaz which is only 10 minutes away by free ski bus on the same pass if you want. Eating out is pretty decent and reasonably priced for a French ski resort. Nightlife is centered around bars . Because this is a traditional village, there is a charm to the place and there is enough for the non skier to do. For those that dont like lengthy airport to resort transfers, Le Grand Bornand comes into its own in that it is only an hour away from Geneva airport. This resort is well worth considering as an easy to access resort with good value extensive skiing

A good ski resort although a found the village quiet which is good for families. Some great runs although when I went in March the runs back to the village were chopped up and slushy although it was warm for the time of year.

Its a really friendly resort with options for all abilities. When i went we were really lucky and got snow however it did melt away unfortunately fast leaving us with a lot of ice and some grass patches in February. Never the less it was great for me as an Advanced snowboarder and my sister as a beginner to both have lots of fun on the same runs. She could go down some greens happily whilst I went alongside and did some side hits which are super cool. The park was one of the best bits with again though for everyone with their small beginner ramps and rails to their huge ones for the amazing skiers and boarders. They also had an airbag that (suprisingly) was completely free to use unlike other resorts and got me landing my flips no problem! Overall it is a great resort with easy transport in and out to your accommodation, ski hire everywhere and great staff everywhere.

Great resort for beginner family, not for experienced. Not enough runs and low altitude makes it exposed to poor snow.

The resort is generally quiet and small in comparison to other resorts. There is lots of runs with no people on and if you go early in the morning during the off season it is almost empty. There isn't much options for off piste, although there is a few areas nothing major. There is only one real run with trees and one off piste area so no very good for tree skiing. One major positive is the groomed runs, early in the morning they piste every run and it lots of areas there is lots of opportunities to go fast and practice wide turns etc. there is a very good park with jumps of all sizes

Great experience skiing and snowboarding, have skied here since 4 years old, has lovely wide runs allowing you to enjoy your snowboarding or skiing without the worry of crashing into less experienced skiers. Make sure to check your level of skiing before hand because this is definitely for the skier family with all ranges of abilities. Small resort so if staying for an adrenaline filled high level of skiing not the place to go. Would highly recommend if looking to start skiing or build on previous skiing abilities.

Great skii resort for families. Pretty low altitude so snow was patchy when we went in March-time. Food options on the slope were OK.

For a relatively low-level resort, there's some surprisingly good runs to be found in Grand Bo.
Not one for super advanced skiers or boarders, but it's a great venue for a bunch of learners or mixed ability groups who want to regularly see each other during the day.
To top it off the ski park is a blast!
